Hi Tommy...wow...have made a note of all the plants to buy and see I have written sea beet puppies so hopefully will be able to find these 🤣 Will garden centres have a lot of these plants? I am inspired all over again!
Wohoo! Yes hopefully they'll become available for sale more widely soon, lots of them are a bit fringe such that you've gotta search for them! I'd start with a google search and try independent homegrown sellers on ebay, they've got a lot of them.... Good luck!
Definitely would I actually have a bed of perennial brassicas incl tree cabbage just a bit down the plot but maybe should take a cutting and stick another one in there... can never have enough brassicas!
Yeah I've already got both of those tbh I probably could do with 1 Rhubarb plant but I've got 5 😂 too much rhubarb - and loads of Raspberries already 😂 But deffo would have them if not!
Haha how did you manage to kill the perennial kales?! In my experience they're super hardy! Pete let me send you a cutting in the post? One that will be impossible to kill!!
Wow, look forward to seeing you harvest food from there! 😃
Yes should be harvesting lots and lots soon!!
Hope we get to see you singing to carrots soon!
You want to see it but don't want to hear it!!
Love the idea of a food forest! Great video.
Thanks very much! I know what an amazing idea, there are some mature examples in the UK that you can just wonder round and eat?! :D Thanks Cheryl :)

Love your no faff approach! Subscribed and look forward to food forest updates 👍
Thanks a lot they will be coming!!
Great perennial area! I picked up a Taunton Dean kale at the Bristol seed swap!......I'm trying to keep it alive until it's properly rooted!
Thank you! Ahh great, not far from where they're from! Yes, they root really easily and quickly from my experience so hope yours will too!
Mega! That great
Thanks Sambear!
Nice food forest 😋
❤️🤝👨🌾🪴🤟 love you

Thanks Christine, yes and hopefully the ground cover will establish itself and the plant layer too! :D Me too, look forward to sharing it :D
Perennial tree cabbage would be great in your food forest.

Looks great! Lots of ideas for my patch now thanks Tommy x
Thanks! Ah thats great, I hope they grow well on there! :D
Nice one 👍 I never head of perennial leeks before?! Think I'll have to look into them 🙂
Yeah I know amazing?! There are lots of types!! I've got a selection and have no idea which is which but amazing things!
I'm surprised you didn't go for the classic Rhubarb or Raspberry. Interesting though. Just planted some Babbington leeks myself the other day.
Yeah I've already got both of those tbh I probably could do with 1 Rhubarb plant but I've got 5 😂 too much rhubarb - and loads of Raspberries already 😂 But deffo would have them if not!
What size plot is this, waiting for a new allotment..do folks grumble at food forestry on allotments.
What's the usual large size 150sq or 250sq?
Not sure I'm going to guess around 20m-30m x 6m-9m, something like that! No they dont as long as they are small trees they dont mind!!

Brought some perennial kale, and managed to kill 6 plants,so restarting again, and the leeks…and maybe the running onions but shhhh!!!
