Update: Big changes have been made in terms of timing. Runs are no longer timed RTA. Runs are now timed without loads. *Spoilers for the video* This means that Capri's 32:40 RTA run has been retimed to a 31:35 LTR run. Capri has since improved the record, with a 30:18 LTR time on 05/03/2024. Congrats to Capri! Sub 30 LTR may be possible. :D
I just gotta say. You honored every single one of us in just 56 minutes and 11 seconds. Thank you so much for taking the time and making a video about our game and also thank you for being such an important member of our community. :D
Never knew this game had a speedrunning community but i guess i shouldn't be surprised. me and my brother used to play the toybox mode of this game for hours when i was younger, im glad that we weren't the only ones that still enjoy this game
I'm like 40 seconds in and I can already tell that you 100% deserve more subscribers. The editing, the voice over, and live action gags, are legitimately really well done
I had a blast watching this video, really interesting story about perseverance, breaking barriers and forming/developing friendships. I even got a bit emotional since I relate to a lot of what was said. It must feel really nice to have all your hard work be recognized and I'm sure all the people included & mentioned in this video couldn't be happier. Good job and thanks for this video! What a great tribute to the Toy Story 3 community!
Amazing video, im so glad you were the one to make a history video for this game because you truly honored it well, amazing quality of the video and the history was great, also you said my name so I already love this video.
My cousin had the PSP version. If it wasn’t for this video, I would have thought the game was completely dead and forgotten. Thank you for this nostalgia trip lol
Just watched your toy story 2 speed run video the other day and that was put together very well, didn't look at the views or how many subs you have. 595 subs is crazy, just from the quality of your videos i was thinking you had a couple hundred thousand like some of the other people who cover speed runs. Keep up the good work, if you keep dropping videos like these i have no doubt you'll get to that point if that's what you want.
Licensed games have a poor reputation but this is definitely one of the good ones. Such a creative game that pays homage to the whole Toy Story series. Great video.
Gosh this community is super impressive and epic. I'm not trying to make this about me but I wish I could be impressive like y'all, and the rest of the runners I see in these history videos. Anyways congrats on the progression guys, and great job on the video Swag ❤
yooo i was oniwaka on the forums. i never posted a run but my pb was 1h 4min on ps3 😎 shoutout pingtoe aka the goat, the pause buffer stuff was crazy i remember when he found it
It's always interesting seeing games that I knew for a very long time have a Speedrun community in a way. it's very cool in my opinion. I sorta remember my sister playing this fun Pixar video game. also nice use of music in your watchable video in my opinion.
This by far, has made me want to speed run a game. Me and my sisters had this game, I remember nothing past talking to Lotso as we all mainly just played in the toybox mode (we were young and I don't think we knew how to get out of toybox mode lol) So seeing the last few parts we missed out on makes me want to go and play this, even though we no longer have a working wii, or the game lol
My sister and I used to play this all the time when we were younger. We had so much fun attempting to beat difficult platforming sectio- Who am I Kidding, we just started a new file earlier today. It’s still fantastic.
I find it great how you mentioned that the pc and wii versions are like betas, could be completely correct because as far as I’m aware, toy box mode is impossible to complete all the way lol
Bro I swear this game was my childhood it thought me how to read count u name it and bro I could never beat it but like one time I played it again when I was like 8 and idk but it felt so good to beat that game
Ahhhhh ToyStory 3 the video game. . .I loved this game to death as a wee lad. I used to play it a LOT Back when it came out and I had no phone. . .and back WAY Before Tiktok existed. . .Whiicchhh for me I played it so much on my Xbox that it became almost unplayable. Which for me I actually did play a game til unplayable which that game was Sonic All Stars Racing: Transformed. Which on that, I actually only just continue falling into the absolute pink void below. . .man I wonder how long it had been.
If you are ever to make another video on the Speedrun history for a game then I gave a segguestion that you must do. Do a video on the Speedrun and world record history for my little pony a marine bay adventure. But wait for the game to become at least a month old. But it probably won't be as easy to crack in terms of glitches so that sucks. But please conciser this opinion/idea.
I say you also do a Speedrun world record history video for toy story 2 the video game on Playstation one. also I want to see a tas for the Wii version of this game. I think I now might just get the Xbox 360 version. I won't Speedrun it but just have a good time with a good game.
Yup, there is a DS and a PS2 version of Toy Story 3. I didn't cover them in this video because they are completely separate from Toy Story 3 The Video Game.

The Xbox 360 version was a core part of my childhood! It really makes me smile to see people talking about a game that was so important to me.
This deserves more views. It’s criminal how you only have like 500 subs

PS3 is actually the best version though. You can play as Zurg in the Toy Box mode. ZURG.

Coming back to this video it aged well
FLASH WARNING around 9 minutes, happening on and off for a couple of minutes (until he stops talking about the final boss fight)
ps2 version is my childhood and actually correlates with the movie
I played the DS version of the game back in the day and tbh that version looks more fun then the console releases

The PS2 and DS versions of the game are completely different games. The same in title only.
