- Ridge sees all of Amber’s designs flung around his old office and notes it didn’t take long to erase his existence. When Amber enters, Ridge spouts that she will never amount to anything in this company. Amber contends that the new faces of Forrester just may surprise him. Brooke hopes Ridge will stay, but he says his leaving will put an end to the worst chapter of his life. Brooke decides to give Ridge the proper send off by throwing an impromptu farewell party. Before stepping out the door for the last time, Ridge recalls memories of his time spent at Forrester Creations. Sally invites Massimo over intent on seducing him, but he pulls away. When Sally deduces that Massimo has been using their relationship to keep her quiet, she vows to make him pay.

One of the rare time periods on the show where Ridge was likeable and using his brain.
Not _Thorne_ wondering how Sally is these days. CIue number one: she'd be a whole lot better if it hadn't been for you.
No self awareness for Eric’s sons
One of the reasons Thorne deserves to be neglected.
That’s right
I miss this actres
Brooke: "I'm not Sally Spectra. Don't worry, that won't happen."
Cue Sally suggesting that Spectra produce a bedroom line, and wanting to make love in the office! 😂
(Only Sally is a better person, and an _incomparably_ better mother, than Brooke could ever hope to be.)
It's the way Brooke said it like she's a better person than Sally for me. Brooke's a joke.
Sally suggesting that Spectra produce a bedroom line, and wanting to make love in the office makes HER Brooke Logan. Not the other way around.
@@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763Sally is a MUCH better person than Brooke in every sense of the word.
Plus Spectra has actual designers and their clothes look good.
@@marn25I know, my point was that either way the show plays with the idea of bIending the two characters even as Brooke says it will not happen.
@@annieo6527 fair point.
Eric Logan still doesn't get it. Amber really is a mini-Brooke.
Why does Amber have Ridge's office? She hasn't earned that.
Even Clarke had to fight for an office.
Amber was always a mini-Brooke, glad I’m not the only one who sees that😂👏🏻
@@TriniT21 and Clarke us an actual designer, he had couture on lock
@@scor66 you've being saying it from day 1. 👏 😂
I wish Ridge stayed this way fighting against the Logan 😂😂😂
Ronn Moss is Ridge Forrester!!!!
Indeed I miss him. I can’t stand bloated Ridge
Amen Amen Amen
I miss him
@@Ms.FrazierNo disrespect but Thorsten Kaye always looks bored. Ronn had spark, charisma, the I am Ridge Forrester!
@@lauraC1082 Bloated Ridge acts like he’s not interested in Brooke at all 😂 I thought Brooke was gonna end up with Bill tbh
*_"It was the end. I'd never be back."_* (Ridge, who would indeed eventually be back.)
Writers, superfluous past-tense voiceovers don't sound nearly as cooI as you think they do. Especially not when used mid-storyline (where they will later be contradicted) instead of as an epilogue.
Brooke had one at her wedding to Thorne. Sally had one at Tony and Kristen's wedding. And now Ridge. The show has never done them before and I don't recall them doing them since, but 2001-2002 was clearly the year the writers discovered this writing technique and became infatuated with it.
_/AnnieO, who would never write another comment_
(until she did, a few hours later)
😂 🤣
I thought the voice over was horrible. Better to just do the memories.
😂👍
😂😂😂😂
Sally dated Massimo _knowing_ he agreed to it only because he didn't want her to tell the truth about Ridge's paternity. That was their agreement all along. It was no secret. So why is she now suddenly acting as if Massimo betrayed her?
I guess she never learns - it was the same with Clarke. She knew he married her because of what she could give him, and still she expected him to fall in love with her.
As illogical as Sally is here, it's _her_ kind of logic. She is still very much in character - and she's pretty much the only one at this point.
@@annieo6527 It's so Sally to feel betrayed, despite the fact that all cards were on the table.
So true...
And It's so Sally to just jump, body first, into a relationship.
That's how she was with Anthony. And remember her pretending to be pregnant for Jack?
@@TriniT21 Sally is the eternal romantic optimist. She keeps believing the men will fall in love with her if she only gives them something in return. But it never works - they want what she has to offer but they don't want _her._ I think the only man who ever truly loved Sally was Adam.
Amber is annoying and yes Earweak Forrester will be turning into Temu😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂 Temu
I think FC is since Brooke took over even cheaper and low quality than that.
Temu does need an Ambrosia line for sure!
This is Forrester for Walmart.
Not that I like Ridge, but I can still see his point of view. Honestly, it's totally disrespectful to give Amber Ridge's office and he's only been gone for 2 days. Where's Sheila's old broom closet office? That would be more suitable for Amber.
Deacon and Whip is there 😊@@TriniT21
Knowing what happens it’s silly hearing Ridges diary entry at the end.
Remember when we had to listen to Brookes after she married Thorne ??😂😂
I know, it's siIIy hearing it knowing that Brooke's marriage to Thorne lasted six months, and Ridge's "permanent" departure from FC didn't last very long either.
@@annieo6527 Ridge was away from Forrester for 2 years. I'd say he was gone for long.
When massimo had his last scene it's like after he never existed, nick jackie stephanie and ridge never mention him again.
Exactly! In fact all the Marone's just vanished. The Massimo retcon was pointless to begin with.
@@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763 lolll jackie nick and the baby just all vanish and the baby is brooke biogically. by the time stephanie die i think they were all gone
@@illyktve7307 YES! It's like Brad 🔔 ruined the foundation of the show (Ridge being Eric's son) to futility.
They had one scene where Steph asked Nick if he has heard from Massimo but they both say no and leave it alone. For someone to be so happy to have discovered his kids and grands to just have him disappear is horrible writing. He left on bad terms with Nick but there was no reason to have him not keep in touch with ridge and his kids.
Massimo moved to Salem again to brainwash his pawn and cause trouble
It just hit me, watching Sally and Massimo, that either of them are with us anymore. They brought so much life snd character to the show, sometimes almost forgetting that these episodes took place more than two decades ago ❤
Not Carol from the pattern department making me tear up 😢
Ridge, as a Marone 🥴, is a billionaire who should have set up a new fashion company with his name on it. He has already a great fame as designer he doesn't need FC anymore. That should have been the real change.
@@babs4848 IKR! There's no need to buy Spectra.
15:38 I feel so bad for these employees, apparently Forrester Creations doesn't pay well.
Whip's been there a decade and still can't afford a home.
But notably, the staff who they don't even pay well (but who clearly keep the ship on course while the Forresters figure who's Brooke's baby daddy this time), show more class and gratitude than Ridge's own family.
@@TriniT21 Eric, Brooke, Ridge, and Thorne don't even dress like they pay themselves well.
@@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763 for real. Extend that to Rick, Bridgit, Amber. Deacon...
Amber can be very irritating 🙄
I'm pissed for Sally her stay on B&B was not positive : looses children , company , gang no lover ends up as a secretary for FC gush BELL destroyed this character that brought so much to the show
Yes, Sally had so much tragedy in her life and she deserved much better.
the audacity of amber....
I know!
Awe Ridge 😢 Even him holding hands with Brooke at the end was sad😔
I agree
"You bought me my first pair of scissors." Wait. Forrester Creations don't pay their employees enough for them to afford to buy their own pair of scissors? How is that heartwarming?
😂
Wow dont be so sad Rick amber Brooke Eric this was what you were woted for.
Do you think ridge would jump for joy after you woted against him 😮😮
And thorne kristen your own brother when it suits you.
Do you remeber thorne when Stephanie and Eric picked ridge for president over you and you went belistic i your office and ended up at spectra.
You have done desame now to ridge, and Rick dont be sad you have all you want ridge out.
This is way later. When he is with darla
Soliloquies can be a quickly overused technique even for the most profound and deep of characters, and the character of Ridge Forrester is . . .deeply un-profound.
Exactly! I just commented on how this scene was written too. For me the worst part was the use of past tense, implying some kind of definitive ending when it actually isn't.
Amber's line was the HFTF back in the day. They all needed to go to Ridge's office. Eric, Thorne, and Kristin acted so wounded that Ridge is leaving, when they voted him out, they did this to themselves. Just ridiculous
Why is Sally wearing her nightie to work She is turning into Brook
Ridge doesn’t come back for another year and a half if I recall…
Sally? Desperate? LIKE ALWAYS!😝
The flashbacks make me sad and happy.
Ridge is sulking that they all took a vote but he called the original one in a sneaky and underhanded manner. Had he not done that he would likely still be acting CEO and Amber would not be designing.
I can’t wait til this episode is over.
Sally would probably have nicer lingerie line than Brooke
Sally is acting desperate. 😅
Sally hit Stephano Demera😂😅
Sally looks sexy for someone her age
good men
16:32
16:00
yes
Why there are only Montages of rigde with Brooke and Eric working at FC. Stephanie worked there too.
It's so infuriating. 🙄
Because he was dreaming of his life at Forrester. Taylor didn't become a part of that until he put her on the board. This wasn't even about any romance with Brooke. Just their triumphs in fashion. BeLief was huge for the company.
@@blackblake3658 Whatever. That still doesn't explain why Stephanie isn't part of the montage of Rigde at FC. Stephanie worked there and was part of belief too. So, that Taylor didn't work at FC is irrelevant to my post.
@@andream5998I think its because Stephanie is already team ridge. So he is just recounting his time with brook and Eric. As far as Thorne no one cares.
@@andream5998 How was Stephanie part of Belief? She never wanted or approved Brooke to work there. Nor does she have any knowledge. I do remember she told Brooke "that was last year, what have you done for us lately"? The only part of Belief Stephanie had, was receiving profits from it.
