hears another quick tip for the ps5 if you have this problem. go to sound and check if "disable game chat audio". if it's on then turn it off so you can hear people and people can hear you. hope this helped

i just hate that when i am playing call of duty u can only hear players on your controller but not from your tv which i want it to hear it on your tv not the controller
i had the same issue but now I solved it… check the party manage in social which is in cold war’s party and make sure * MUTE ALL EXEPT PARTY > (DISABLED).
