You’re welcome! I already have a video about how I zoom and highlight, I do it in my screen recording program. Screenflow. Check it out here: FAST & EASY Enlargements/Callouts in UA-cam Videos - SCREENFLOW for Mac ua-cam.com/video/CKfOJAxmPcs/v-deo.html
Great tips! I wish they would allow us to right click copy specific parameters just like you did in fairlight but on the inspector side of the edit page. Just like you can in adobe. Well, maybe they will implement in the future. Great video as always!
Resolve is always improving, maybe it's something they will add in the future! For now, if the changes were made in one specific node, you can copy one node and paste those settings onto a new node on another clip.
Great tips. Do you have a video of quick tips for matching the color of a foreground image with the background image after using the 3D Keyer in DaVinci Resolve 19? If so, a link please.
Thanks! You can copy one node to another group or clip, but I didn't have any luck copying several nodes (but not all nodes) from one group or clip to another. I bet @darrenmostyn as the answer. 😜
I think I'd just set up a text+ the way I want it, then copy the text+ clip. I don't think you can copy the parameters. Maybe if you jump into fusion.....
Also wish you could grab more than one node in the color page as a copy/paste without the need of creating a powergrade etc. Say you just want to grab the last two nodes in a clip's stack paste over to a new clip. I think they could enhance that as well! :)
Thank you Jason! I am failing to create a custom fusion transition between 2 clips to keep in my effects tab, although I followed a few example videos (using a macro template, saving a template). I think I do not understand how it actually works, I am using Resolve 19. Do you have such a video?
OK. Related question - I'm sure I saw this somewhere a long time ago, but I can't find it ... Scenario: I have a clip which has been fully colour graded, etc, etc, and then broken into various sub-clips, so the edit can switch back and forth between two points of view. Having done all of that, I now decide that I want to adjust the settings of one or two nodes (maybe the contrast is a bit off and that girl's tee-shirt should be a bit darker yellow) in the colour grade of all of those sub-clips. Is there a way (I'm pretty sure there is), where the adjustments to one sub-clip will automatically be repeated in all the other subclips?
Hey! You could place the sub-clips into a group, then apply your adjustment to that group only. Select the subclips hyou want (in color page), right click and choose add clips to new group. Then make your adjustments. I use Remote Grades a lot because my setup is the same, this allows me to make the edit once, and it applies to all of the subclips from the main clip. I know that might not works for most people, but just putting it out there. Hope this helps a bit!
Thanks Mr Yadlovski. Happy New Year!
Excellent tips .. cheers, Jason 😁🙏🤘

Hi Jason
Thanks for sharing this.
Please make a video on zooming and highlighting with the cursor as you did in this video. 😊

Thanks! I don't have any videos like that currently, but great idea. Maybe I can make a video like that.
Nice! A good selection for new users! Any way to copy a few nodes from a group to another group? Thanks and Have a nice New Year!
Thanks! You can copy one node to another group or clip, but I didn't have any luck copying several nodes (but not all nodes) from one group or clip to another. I bet @darrenmostyn as the answer. 😜
@JasonYadlovski Thanks! I'll take a look!
Thanks. I just have to remember it. :)
Save the video and come back to it. I even save my own videos for when I forget how to do things. 😜
Thanks! Is there any way to copy and paste text+ shading? I want to change many text to the same shading style.

Yeah, it's would be great if they made it a little more flexible.
Thank you Jason!

Hey Jason. How do you make that davinci logo swipe transition
It’s a standard transition in Resolve called logo wipe. By default it’s text but you can add a logo of your choice in the inspector.

@@JasonYadlovski Cheers - Remote Grades sounds like something to research - 😎
It appears that you cannot paste the amount of voice isolation as an attribute to another clip. Perhaps I am missing something.
you made a video like this before.
I might have at some point in time. 😁 hard to keep track of all the videos I’ve made over the years.
