Do you hear the sound of the bomb? 💣😱 4:12 is the famous spot, which the pianist plays with fist instead of fingers. ✊
Will you upload no.7?
Wow! After 1 hour and already 100 comments. 0 dislikes! Good job, Traum! Keep it up!
Also, if you think traum should put more music on Spotify, like this comment.
You could play one of the pieces in three Irish legends! You can slap your entire forearm on the piano there lol

I feel like this goes in line with the Revolutionary Etude.

Prokofiev is an amazing melodic-dissonant composer, and an epic one. This piece and Traum can prove it!
Hi its you again 😅👋👋
King Kyle IV yes
True, I love Prokofiev's music a lot
1:24
2:27
War is a truly tragic thing.. but with war comes not only new music, but many other things as well, both good and bad! This piece really does the most it can to represent war, but of course, we have no true idea what it was like. Amazing job Traum as usual! I've never heard of this piece so thank you
ua-cam.com/video/UD6f9fHT1XI/v-deo.html
7:14 god I love that, I can just imagine a tank driving through a destroyed city filled with broken building and smoke from the distance.
i know, right??
i have no idea how you put this amazing madness out every day
I really don't understand avant-garde music like Schoenberg and more of the Stravinskeys things. But composers like Prokofiev I deeply respect. One of the greatest composers ever, love his etudes, sonatas and concertos (especially piano concerto 3)
Schoenberg is not avant-garde. Avant-garde began AFTER WW2 as a reaction to the horrors of it.
It was an understandable reaction, but a musical dead-end. You can't write music that deliberately tries to alienated the listener and expect it to have a lasting impression.
@@Quotenwagnerianerthough, there’s value in exploring dead ends and non-lasting forms do expression that fit into particular historical contexts. If no one’s doing it, the value only increases. Preferring the eternal to the transient is a matter of taste.
Man, what an Repertoire.
Just love your Videos. They are full of quality.
Keep going

If TRAUM plays this sonata in a war, the power he supports will win successfully...
Ok maybe let's not do that for 2021
Of course, why would we do that? We're trying to not cripple 2021...
Everyone skipping ahead to 4:12 😂.....
Thx maestro for another great piece!

:(
Prokofiev always intrigues me when I get to listen to him
Nice job Proky.
This piece is so loud and has many stuffs going on at same time, giving the feel of war.. I've never heard of this but it's great!

Almost the same tone of Chopin Polonaise in A major, but this Prokiev sonata is divine, you can hear the modern harmony in this piece
Favourite Prokofiev thanks I have been a big fan
I love this war sonata, its melodic atonality, the rage and fury it conveys...thanks for this rendition.
The 6th, 7th and 8th sonatas are all extraordinary works and have been personal favourites of mine by Prokofiev for years. The music he composed from 1935 right up to 1947 and the 6th symphony has to be some of the greatest music of the twentieth century.
Wow. Couldn’t have picked a better piece!!!! Amazing!
Excellent bravo!!!
This man has a gift!
Seriously you are very talented
I have exams in two days and I can't stop listening to you play some of the hardest pieces with such ease.
This sounds like a boss theme in a game xD
Btw I like the bomb effect :)
i love your repertorio since the mystic sonate of Scriabin. Thanks
Traum. I think you've surpassed your self on this one . This deserves a standing ovation ! You capture the moment .The moment the world finds itself in . Let us hope America sees and realises the terrible damage it is doing to itself , regardless of political beliefs . If there is a moment in time when we all need to use our energies in a constructive and healing way. Now is that moment. I saw the most gorgeous ,serene sunrise this morning (l live across the pond) and lamented for those who will not see it . Like l said Traum , you capture the moment . Thankyou .
Yo, the fist on the piano is amazing!! Never heard about this piece, guess it's history too. Danke, Traum!
It sounds like a outro for 2020.. Good playing, Traum!❤
Love this sonata! Prokofiev definitely knew how to make a piece sound like war. Nice visuals btw
Magnific👏👏👏Good show👍
Stunning playing as with your other interpretations! You’ve been a big influential factor in starting up my own channel - I never thought this format could convey all the emotion, energy and brilliance that you manage to create. Thank you!
I really loved this, probably my favorite interpretation of this piece ever. You just never fail to deliver.
This is such a breathtaking piece! There is no perfect harmonies or beautiful melodies, but just disjointed, harsh sounds.
But it's still music!, and not just someone bashing the piano, there are little patterns littered all over this work!
all this ties in greatly with the theme! Pieces like these show that music can be so much more!
You never fail to provide us with content amazing
This reminds me of those canons in the Tchaikovsky overture

Tchaikovsky used cannons to kill Prokofiev, in return:
Tchaikovsky:Oh, no! I'm triggered!

Prokofiev's piano work is some of the most underrated compositions. Great performance as always. Have you played also from Prokofiev Piano Sonata 7 also a war sonata? You might know it, it was used in the menu of the older Gran Turimo games. Such an energetic piece.
Superb!
The timing is great 😇🤣
But as always great performance ❤🥰
