@@TraumPiano hahaha just finished learning suggestion diabolique and I have to deal with the same thing after those glissandos lol. It’s especially hard to get from FFF to PP in one measure tok though.
You are officially insane! This piece has always been confusing to me, and very few pianists seem to attempt it. Another amazing performance! Things to Do
I admire the amount of dedication you have to the piano, as someone else who studies it (at a much lower level) I am astonished by your technique that is shown in a very large and difficult repertoire. Your videos are very inspirational and I’m happy to be one of the many who gets to see them. Well done in the Prokofiev, he’s a unique composer and your interpretation was quite enjoyable :)
I love that you choose to play some lesser known works. Of course Prokofiev and Ravel are far from unknown, but I rarely see any performances of dissonant works like La Valse or Prokofiev. I would love if you could try some Scriabin.
Brilliant! Prokofiev is a lot like Scriabin for me... I always struggle to learn their pieces because they're just musically nuts! Like Lizst in that respect, just a piano god!!! Now, I'm putting you in that category. You, my friend, are a musical nutcase!!! Lol! Consistently blown away by your playing. Watching you perform gives me chills, and I just LOVE how expressive your hands move! Very graceful and you've got some gorgeous hands!!!
Those glissandos! Glissandos already hurt quite a bit to do, but when you're doing them that fast... This is amazing! I can tell it's not sped up because the visuals are "falling" at a regular pace, and it doesn't sound unnatural, so awesome job! You're a pretty underrated pianist on UA-cam, and I hope you'll get more attention soon
@@aborigenas1 Hm, indeed. Tried to compare to "/watch?v=oMpxkPGanv0" video, really hands look extremely similar. And exactly same piece is also on a channel :)
Have you ever thought about recording some Sibelius? His piano pieces are kind of unown, which is sad because they are beautiful. It would show people the style of Sibelius, also you would be the first of your kind to do so. Keep up the good work!
This is such an amazing performance! I was trying to play it on a piano performance last Halloween and although I was practicing a lot, it was a complete mess :D Seeing your skill is so amazing, thank you for making these videos!
I discovered your channel when you had less than 1,000 subscribers, and now you have over 6,000! I just want to congratulate you on that. I wish your channel a bright future.

Give that man an Oscar for the hand acting 🙌
🤣
Hands down
He is a magician and a musician "who [just] happens to play the piano"
Honestly the acting is super cringe
But the performance is really phenomenal, especially the glissandi at the end
lol
Nice acting at the start. Very intense... those fast glissandos!
Thanks! Glissandos are easy but after, the right next notes are super annoying 😅
