The twilight movies are my "comfort" movies, I come back to them a few times each year. This scene will always be one of my favorites, I love how they end it with her recapping their history to him. So good!

I never was into the series. But that phrase "you had to be there to understand " i was there. Started when I was a freshmen in h.s and ended when I graduated. you just had to be there and I was there. Seeing the h.s boy making fun of the movie and every girls loving it. Then the Edward vs Jacob phase. Never like the movie but it doest bring nostalgic feeling being that age many years ago. And sure tell me how time had really pass.

They have a special effect, as if it were real, like a dream, like butterflies flying beautifully
Twilight was a woman author's sincere, but unknowing, perfect portrayal of the archetypes for feminine attraction, feminine instinct for the resolution of conflict, and the feminine drive for satisfaction within the tribe. In the end, she is happy, well secure in her tribe, her tribe is safe, and everyone in her tribe has enough.
It is the greatest representation of the archetype of female attraction ever put to film.
The ending also hints at the author's views and hopes for an afterlife in which we are all our best, most youthful selves, and all who aren't evil are together in happiness forever- an idea I find enchanting.

That's a sure sign that you're not well read. If Stephanie Meyer's work is what you treat as a hallmark of feminine literature I don't even know where to begin. Apart from being astoundingly limited both in vision and the vocabulary to express it, the books promote abominations in the name of relationships. It's nostalgia for millennials and Gen Z. Nothing more. If you're interested in epic love stories from a feminine perspective, read the works of the Brontë sisters. There are millions of books that do it better and it's an affront to competent writing that people consider this rubbish series the pinnacle of love in prose.

I have read Jane Austen. "My dear, I have not the pleasure of understanding you" is one of my favorite lines in literature. I feel like my comment is not being closely read or understood. I'm focused on how Meyer unwittingly perfectly portrayed the "male archetypes" modern science knows women are attracted to: the male love interest is dangerous but not to her, respected by others, demonstrably desired by other women the female protagonist consults, can obtain resources reliably, is demonstrably adventurous, which means willing to face danger and overcome obstacles to achieve desired ends.
Meyer's portrayal of female attraction is simple, accurate, and honest. It is elegant.@@smaug9833

one thing i notice. is the goldern colour contacts don't show up as clearly on Kristin as they do on Robert. its almost like shes not wearing them.

2024. Just revisiting, One of my fave ending in a movies. It's so emotional. Espcially if you're a fan of the book and/or the entire 5 films. The journey of their love story and everthing in between. I'll forever associated a thousand years to them. The ending still makes me cry everytime im revisiting one of my fave movies of all time. Done rewatching the entire 5 films. Lol.
My teenager self cried when i first watched this ending scene.
My adult self is still in awe on that scene.

He eventually got a piece of Bella. It’s crazy had Bella not start hanging out with Jake, Edward would never have went to the Volturi. So the split second decisions really paved the way for the last movie and I love that. Jake wanted Bella before Edward met her. Now he has her daughter, and he has half human and half vampire.

Many people said that this movies is really too unrealistic. For me, it's very realistic. Forever love for the movies, the charactee, the soundtrack, forever.

This ending is one of the most satisfying series endings that I've watched. It ties with the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows ending, the Lost ending (IMO 😋), and the Six Feet Under ending. All Beautiful and Bittersweet!
