@@global_zoo Yes! I did three or four trips with Captain Coconut. The reason that summer was so memorable was the storm that hit us at Yo Yo's. Out of no where. The outboards got flooded, the anchor was dragging and the poor crew didn't know what to do. They were throwing offerings at the anchor🥺. That fiasco lasted something like 15 hours. One of the most exciting days ever! The Captain was a young dude, not the old salt with the huge ship tattoo'd on his entire chest. Froggy was the chef. Hope those guys are good. Thank you again for your content!
@@kristopherking7550 Yeah Captain Coconut had some legendary trips starting in 1994 with froggy and lucky as crew. No zodiac and no toilet. Was hell getting back to boat at deserts and took hours to find safe anchorage at Supersucks after surfing til dark. As years went on the boats got bigger with more amenities. We used to stop at Gili Air to load up on herbs☠️
Yo-Yos always comes off as a very challenging place to surf. Nice to see the talent out there ripping. A friend who ran a dive operation in the Gillis confirms it is a certified bitch to get this place wired.

Thanks for the footage! It takes me back to 1999ish' and the maiden voyage of Dreamweaver. What an adventure!
Was that the maiden voyage, huh? I did the same trip on the 'Captain Coconut' in 2010. Last time I heard the Dreamweaver was for sale

I can vouch for your friend in that it's definitely a tough place to surf, especially on the backhand. These guys were shredding!

Nice bro,,
Thanks 👍
Surfed there in 2002 - Matthew Coles boat (forgot name of boat)
There was no one else there 3- 4 foot. Too small for Scar Reef 2ft
Yeah, it picks up so much swell. Maybe the boat was The Dreamweaver, and one was called The Partama I think.
I surf just as good waves on the south coast.
Yeah probably except this is like this just about every single day buddy. Just spent 3 weeks there and had cranking for 18 out 21 days
Pickup much rubbish while you were there?
full garry
What are you 12 years old.
