How to Pack a Packraft - Alpackaraft Expedition

Here's an effective way to minimize the volume of your Alpackaraft while protecting the zipper and valve from a harsh environment. This is an alternative to the method employed by the workshop. I learned this on the river, added a couple twists myself.

🫢 Sorry, but this is by far the most complicated way of folding a packraft I have ever seen. 😅👍 But maybe I'll give it a try anyway. Just can't quite see the advantages of this method yet.

Looks like it leaves the valve open till the very last fold so you can get the most air out for the smallest size when packed away.

After a little practice it's easy enough. If done properly, the thickest part of the boat is what remains exposed, the floor.
