From 8.32 onwards was one of the greatest times of my life. I was there on my own after the loss of my partner, my first time at Glastonbury without her, and that moment it all just clicked and I realised she’d want me to be free. Awesome. Still love you, Catherine xx
I have been listening to Electronic music for the last 30 years especially British music, my favorite bands are New Order , Depeche Mode, U2,PSB ,Underworld and countless more acts and bands, so the only songs I knew from Orbital were Chime, Belfast and Halcyon on and on, so the last past weekend I saw them on Coachella and was blown by them and lets just say the amount of good songs that i discoverd from them was unbelivable, how could have i missed all these great songs in all these years, i purchased at least 23 more songs by them, just unbelievable how great their songs, i was floored by them
I saw them there in 2002. One of the best ever gigs for me. I was right at the front. The Girl with the Sun in Her Head - I think you might be able to hear me going mad on the live recording on the Glastonbury compilation.
Nov 2021and this sound is just as powerful as it was then, way ahead of its time and still second to none over everything else. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. 🙏❤🇬🇧🇬🇧❤🙏
I saw them do one of their first ever gigs in 1990 at Eddie Richards Outer Limits night at Rayzels club in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. They did Satan, Omen, LC1, Chime into Son of Chime. The set is online if you search Orbital Loopz
I went to Glastonbury 94 and I was my 2nd time there, but my first on E. And that first E was watching these. It's on UA-cam but it doesn't capture the atmosphere like this video. That 94 gig by the Hartnols was unbelievably epic.
Holy Fuck!! I just got up from my PC chair and danced like a twat and loved it!!!! (not all the way through as I'm 48 and 22 stone...) jogging my arse, this is the way man!!
If chanting "one more tune" means anything to you I'd encourage everyone to go see a new Irish film called 'Dublin Old School', great story of family, friends and getting mad out of it. Orbital even did a remix of this especially for the soundtrack. #dublinoldschoool
Orbital are one of my fave ever acts. Thanks to loopz for keeping the vibe going. I remember hearing Orbital on John Peel's show back in 1991 and I've loved them ever since. I have Chime Crime on the Mutations EP, on tape. Those remixes on there are brilliant, including by Moby (Speed Freak) and Joey Beltram (Oolaa).
Watching this video because I heard this song in the new years London fireworks display 2017 and me and my mate were dancing like drunk lunatics when we heard this song!
Awesome Tune, Awesome Video. For some reason "Crime" is new to me. It really is a beautiful Mutation of "Chime"! Thanx for posting this as a gift to all Orbital fans who could not go to Glasto 2010. I am really looking forward to the new Orbital album ... expected to launch in 2011!

Probably the greatest version of this timeless classic.🔊😃🙌Bouncy, chirpy, then absolutely gnarly as hell!✊Brilliantly mashed up.🥰✌️
For 9 minutes this helps me forget about all the crap going off in my life.
The Raph this a thousand times over.

For 9 minutes this helps me forget about 2 latest shitty Orbital albums, sadly
@@mot00rzysta agreed! New stuff not a patch on the old.

the synth at 4:49 makes it worth it every time

I saw them there in 2002. One of the best ever gigs for me. I was right at the front. The Girl with the Sun in Her Head - I think you might be able to hear me going mad on the live recording on the Glastonbury compilation.

Love the cheeky sample of Madonna's 'Materiel Girl'! Such a Crime! ;-)
One of the greatest UK Dance Rave instrumental anthems ever by Orbital Chime
There is still hope...
Holy Fuck!! I just got up from my PC chair and danced like a twat and loved it!!!! (not all the way through as I'm 48 and 22 stone...) jogging my arse, this is the way man!!
Are you still alive?
If chanting "one more tune" means anything to you I'd encourage everyone to go see a new Irish film called 'Dublin Old School', great story of family, friends and getting mad out of it. Orbital even did a remix of this especially for the soundtrack. #dublinoldschoool
My favourite night at the festival out of the 8 i've been to. It was unreal!

could not agree more
What you talking about you fuckin melon! They are an underground dance act, not a progressive rock band.

The way those drums come in at 1:20 is filth
