Plot of A Dirty Carnival and Jigarthanda are similar.. Presentation is different.. Changed to suite the audience. But Story is same

@@shinigami_1 well for me. Dirty carnival did have the same plot but jigarthanda is quite different when comparing to the dirty carnival.. I don't know if u have seen the dirty carnival but I have... Its quite different and takes several different turns which are quite original.. The plot and the one liner of the story might be same but it's very different with it comes to screenplay and probably you might call it an Indian way of adaptation more than a remake. So first know the difference and call people hypocrite after knowing everything about it.
Better to watch jigarthanda for the fantastic acting of Bobby simha...

For those who are saying Bachhan Pandey is a "trash" remake of Tamil film Jigarthanda, that Tamil film is also a remake of the South Korean film A Dirty Carnival which released in 2006 so the Tamil film is also not original. Also, this film, whether a remake or not, looks really really good. A remake can be good if it has nice and talented actors and this film HAS some of the best Bollywood actors so I'm definitely going to watch this film and I am really really excited for this film

the name Bachchan Pandey comes from a movie character named bachchan pandey which Akshay played from a movie called Tashan ...i dont think there is any continuity from that movie though.
