- Hi Folks,
Something a little different in this video, I head out to my local woods and cook a Steak on my new Trangia 27 cook set.
The past four weeks I have been ill with flu so this was a welcome short hike out to the woods and also a chance to practice my Plough Point tarp set up.
I really enjoyed cooking the steak, surrounded by the woods and nature, it was the mental reset I needed.

Good Evening Pete and Happy New Year! Glad to hear you're feeling better...Its the perfect time of year for spending time in the woods. Loved the tarp setup, acres of room, a tarp and bivvy camp is on my "To do" list for this year. Let's get out there are wise words, there's always something to appreciate when we step outside, it doesn't need to be anything complicated. Enjoyable watch as always, all the best for 2023!

What a great hike to be able to do right outside of your home. That is a great stove steak looked like it turned out great! Turning it into a sandwich was great idea. Hope you are feeling better.
