The low wing is called, "predictive crosswind landing geometry". They're still trying to figure out what to do if the wind is coming from the other way.
@@quinnjim De-Nada BTW, I have a 1981 PA-32R-301T with relatively low time that MAY need a wing-root repair. Any advice on selling it, or obtaining the best remaining value? The broker who has had it has not been proactive in selling it.
a new aerodynamic concept. My son is a construction engineer designing fuselages and airplane engines. The propeller... wowww... to calculate the speed of the air flow at the bent propeller blade... I think it entered a black hole vortex. He entered through the back of the galaxy and came out here on earth.
HAHAHAHA! A beaut, Clark, indeeeed!😁That might be right in my price range now! Of course, I'd have to fly it as-is, since I'd have nothing left to fix it. 🤣Wonder what the story is on THAT? Definite off-field landing from the grass jammed in the gear there. Wasn't a comfortable ride from the looks of things!! EDIT: Ahh, I see it was storm damage on Katherine's Report.
Oh my gosh… the owner of this plane posted a video showing how this plane got this way. I cried for him. I haven’t cried like that in a long time. Bless his heart.
The prop with the curl is a new design feature to create a vortex that gives extra lift on takeoff, I used to own a car like that, on the windshield was a note "keys in the ignition" nobody stole it.
HAHAHA!!! How did I miss this? LOL!!!
This is @Rich Wellner's old Maule. I just did a video on it.
This was awesome!!!!!!
Thanks! We stumbled across it on the ramp at Schaumburg.

That sounds right. Thank you.

@@LostAnFound I list stuff on Barnstormers. People will find it there. Not sure how to put a value on it.
I do like the wing mod that's called reverse dihedral it prevents the heby heby shake! It's based on super secret Soviet ground effect research ?
Gee thanks Jim. I was drinking my iced tea and your comments just caused me to spit it all over my laptop.
That's awesome.
It comes with its own preflight safety video too!
Sad to see that airplane in that shape…
Really sad. Had to be on landing

Apparently it was a thunderstorm…
Was the auto pilot deflated as well?
Roger over ! I think maybe somebody was watching gladiator movies on a final

Must be that new wing design from China: “One Wing Low”

I'm picking up an RV-6A. Should be some good videos of that (if it passes pre buy)
@@quinnjim Fantastic!! Love those - can’t wait to see that. I hope it passes! 👍😎👍
the right wing and the rudder are designed for reverse pylon racing. New class of competition at Reno this year 🤣🤣🤣
Outstanding!

I know. I linked it at the end of my video. Sad.
I wonder if the old "Cash for Clunkers" offer could be applied to this (relatively!) fixed wing aircraft? 🤔😉

What technology. Cutting edge!
The local FSDO will issue a ferry permit, no sweat.
Yeah...if you have 6 months to wait on them issuing anything..
That was funny. I'm liking your style of humour John, it's very much like mine! :)
Thanks! Good to hear from you.
Used for Cross wind landing training 🤔
Needs a LOT more practice!
Buy it quick!! Really quick! Before someone else snaps it up 😯
UV-proof windshield to boot!
did you get the Maule. who is going to restore it.
which engine is in the RV-6A
Texas Bill
The Maule was a joke!

That maule got mauled
Sad deal right there.
