They need to mix this combat style and the over world with the pokemon formula and it'll be perfect.
I'm buying this over Street Fighter V, this game seems to offer much more then Street Fighter V and I'm sad that's kinda the case since ive been a fan of Street Fighter since Street fighter 2.

I played this at my local anime convention (Youmacon), I liked it. But then I played the Switch demo at a GameStop. This'll be one of the first games I get for the Switch. Despite I'm not that big of a Pokemon fan. I think though this game will probably push me to get more into the series.

this doesn't play like storm though. It plays like Final Fantasy Dissidia at long range, Street Fighter & Tekken at close range.
This game doesn't use 1 button for melee combo, it has weak and strong ones and also unique strings. Watch Japanese high lvl play and you will see it plays nothing like storm.
People are so confused on this game.
+Arthur Lam actually that isn't a good comparison because this game switches from a 3d field fighter to a 2d brawler which is part of its mechanics.

tonertonki that's the amiibo scanning. Not a playable Pokemon. In Pokken, you have about 18 fighters and plenty of support Pokemon.

Dude Naruto fighting games are not really competitive. That is primarily a fanservice fighter, which are ultimate terrible and horribly unbalanced. This game is done by the Tekken team themselves. So you know how seriously they're going to take this game.
That's good to hear! But it does have a similar perspective/camera, and pikachu's movement's -like when he is shooting electric disks while dodging through the air are reminiscent of those games. I guess I was looking at more of a surface level similarity, and not balance stuff

If you look at the meters you can tell that the health is not even with each other. That's actually pretty normal for a fighting game
