I have just been reading Watchman's description of the two men and the woman of Romans 7 vv1-6.
It explains how we have been freed from the Law, (which itself will remain forever).
See chapter 9 of The Normal Christian Life.
The depth of the Love of the Lord Jesus is so wonderful: indeed, "In Him lie hidden all the mighty untapped treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
    Praise Jesus.

the teaching is exceptional; God‘s Holy Spirit blesses Dr. Ferguson to impart knowledge and wisdom. He used the term liberated, so I did some homework
In Greek, the word “liberated” (απελευθερωμένος apeleftheromenos) means to be set free or released from constraints, oppression, or captivity. This is a perfect choice of words to describe our position in Christ. It implies a state of freedom and autonomy, often with connotations of independence.

You can have a believer and an unbeliever both sing Amazing Grace and you will get TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS of the same song

Watchman Nee's book the Normal Christian Life is perhaps described as a commentary on Romans.
He amplifies his theology with everyday examples.
He is most helpful, as is Mr Ferguson.
I can't read every book not in my life span.
So, l pick those that l feel are the most inspirational.

Very good as usual, but there was one word you used that can be misunderstood, and it really do matter. You said:' ...and we are being adopted into His Kingdom'. To be 'adopted' means we are accepted into ' a new family' and that is all good and well, but for someone adopted there are almost always a sense of abundanment or 'I need to see where I come from. With God, we are MORE than adopted; we are a new creation. ...so have we become righteous by our own? No, in no way, but we have become 'good with God' because of HIS righteousness and HIS love. What was before is no longer relevant, as it might be for someone who were adopted. God did it ALL and the blood of Jesus made us into HIS children... not adopted by anything we did, but because of God's unending love. So I find the word 'adopted' being something you seek; you n33d to do something to achieve, but it was (and is!) God who does it all, and we are 'a new creation' thanks to Him.
