The carbon gen1 V10 needs a much better rudder box. That thin flimsy white plastic cup thing just under the hatch is so crappy, it's's broken already. Please don't use cheap plastic crap on Epic anymore. My Nelo is older, abused more and in mint condition still. 😢🙏🏼
Yes On my 10 year old V8 it’s all dry, brittle and about to break from UV deterioration. But it was probably mis treated/cared for by the previous owner/s
@BlazinBlades sorry to hear about that. I am also told by someone at Epic that the rudder steering line tubes ( internal tubing that houses the spectra line) that exit the hull both up near the feet and back at the rudder area are made of plastic. That plastic tubing becomes brittle eventually and can fall apart. If that happens, water now is able to accumulate in the hull. It's a shame if a well-made boat has components that are cheap and not as long-lasting as the rest of the vessel. Especially internal components that in order to replace them we gotta cut open the boat. Otherwise I'm really enjoying my gen1 epic v10. God Bless and get out paddling!! Prost 🌞
@@Hundert1 Yes That is also happened to mine. Currently still pretty dry inside but the ski rattles like rattlesnake with all the broken pieces of the plastic guide hose broken inside 😝😝
That was apparently a problem with the gen 1 (very old) version, but now in Gen 4 the problems have been fixed. I've have 2 Epics that have had zero problems 🙂
Great downwind footage, please do more of these drone videos!!!
