Klarus 360X1 LED Torch: Review
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- The smaller 360X model from Klarus featuring a top end output of 1800lm and the same "360" style base/tail switch. This model has just the 360 switch, and features the two modes Tactical/Outdoor. Very similar to the Klarus XT2CR.
I test the torch to find out how it compares, the drop down, WR test, charging speed. In depth look at the torch and UI.

shit 130-140$ USD for 1800 lumens and meh runtimes?
my olight R50 pro seeker was 207$ canadian on sale (maybe 170$ USD)
it has 3200 lumens on turbo, more modes, better support, and is tougher than vladamir putin
Merry Christmas Mr Baz! Thank you for the review. In terms of design this is the kind of light I give my wife to keep. Currently she has the older XT2C. No remembering what last mode you used, just high or strobe in tac mode, no matter what button you hit. Perfect when you panicked or full of adrenalin. I used to train various groups in tactical awareness and self defence. A flashlight can give you a significant psychological advantage in a defensive engagement.
Hi Craig yes the UI will appeal to those don't like the multi press switches on some (the EC30 is like that but you get used to it as you will anything after a while), so I can see the appeal. It's just something different and this year there wasn't that much variety in design - a few but I'd like to see more variation. Hope you have a good Xmas too thanks for the support!
thanks for the great review Baz. hows about a best (or 3 or 4 best) of 2018 vid ? happy holidays !
I was thinking about that have to have a bit of downtime over Christmas but will be back soon ish ;-) Have a good Christmas/Holidays too!
I’ve had a problem with the 360 switch on mine at 7 days new. In the tactical mode while pushing the the 360 switch for strobe there’s been intermittent times of going out of strobe and into
low beam. Also intermittently not going into strobe at all. It wasn’t in any particular spot as I did mark places on the switch trying to figure out the problem. I bought this torch for tactical purposes and failure of this nature can be dangerous. I would have to agree with you on having another light level above 400 Lumens and another below 10 lumens. Given other reviews I have seen I’m not the first to have a problem with the tail cap switch. If they could figure that out I would give it another go, but until then I’m back on point for a new tactical torch. Any suggestions?
I've not had a problem on the ones I got for review (yet) but I'm only using them the odd time not intensively. Generally what I've found for dual switches it sometimes the silicone can work it's way onto the contacts so I would clean the tube end and base cap end with a cotton bud and see if that works. I've not looked at loads of tactical torches the Nitecore one recently was pretty good
Mr Baz I did try your suggestion and unfortunately still having a problem with the 360 tail switch ring. I have also experienced the strobe coming on with pocket carry A couple of times when sitting down. 1800 lm of strobe still deals like your leg is on fire. You can avoid that by loosening the tail cap, but that kind of goes against it being a tactical torch.
Doesn't sound right can you exchange it or send it back? I've not seen those problems myself it's pretty hard to activate the side ring switch on this one you really have to push it
I have about a week left to return it. Just as I was reading your return message that torch about put my leg on fire. As much as I do like the features and beam , there’s been too much trouble with the tail switch so I’m hoping to get a refund. Thanks again for your thoughts and of course all your great videos. I’m a big fan. Ciao
am buy this product in gear best my friend thanks to review!!!am love this product am from brazil ok
Hope you like it quite different to other torches but some will want that
Very true its the same ver to the xt2cr.
Pretty much bar the obvious 360 switch but people seemed to like the XT2CR
@@MrBazReviews Well actually I can vouch that. I personally own a xt2cr and its awesome.
KLArUS. they come up with near flawless designed lights. Even some geniurs e.g the 350 tail switch...but they always mess it up (in my book0 by putting gaping gaps between lumens modes e.g. between the HIGH mode and the Rurbo e.g. X3 100, 400 and a 4300 turbo mode?? why start with 100 lumens and not 30? why isn't there a 250 lumens? or a 1000 or 1200 as the HIGH??
They did the same withthe G15....
Spacing on the G15 is not as bad, at least it has an OK high and mid, if anything with 4000lm+ you really need 6 power levels. The mistake on the 360x models is they didn't have a high level, 900/1000, 400 is more mid level
Would you rather recommend th XT11GT or this as a rifle mounted light? :)
I prefer the XT11GT overall both will work for a weapon light the GT has a slightly longer range v the 360x1 if that's important.
@@MrBazReviews Thank you very much!
Which would you take if you compared the 360x1 to the Fenix PD35 TAC or even a dedicated rifle light like the streamlight protac HLX?
@@HawaiianSurfer96 I've not used thePD35 TAC or any of the streamlight ones so can't really say. You might be better off asking someone who has more experience with lights mounted on weapons I have used a few rifles but not with lights, and not for some time I just don't have the hands on knowledge with weapon mounted lights
Hi there Mr Baz, could you review the streamlight stylus pro?
Where does the lanyard attach to?
Clip is the only place to put it
@@MrBazReviews I dont like that
Shame about tge cheap snap on clip, hate them
They could be better
