I’m sure you’ve sorted it by now. But I think I saw somewhere that the 30amp charger is too big for lead acid battery. Maybe that’s why the settings weren’t there in the app. I think an 18amp charger may have been more suitable. I may be wrong.

Hello, is there a way to limit the current? if I have a Li Ion battery to charge, that can take 200+ Amps, how can I limit the output current in order not to blow the fuse or overcharge the alternator, charger, cables?
Hi there. There's loads of different parameters that you can mess on with in the app. Sadly I'm no expert on all of the batteries. I had to contact the supplier for advice on my specific battery, and they were more than helpful. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
It should be a 60amp fuse both sides of the charger and you really should put that cable in conduit. Also if you take the red cover off the top of the battery there’s a proper mounting point for an auxiliary line rather than connecting to the bolt for securing the battery terminals.
I follow along with your van restoration from video number 1 but this week you lost me, I would be no good helping you out with the electrics, I was baffled.

Hi Ben. I bought this particular model on the advice of the supplier, who knew exactly what system I had in place. He told me exactly what settings to put it on after I contacted him for advice. 10 months on, and it's working a treat. the battery has never failed us, and we have just been away 4 nights, and used it all the time.
