nice video Dr.,do you ever consider bonding veneer with flowable composite resin or preheated composite?
No, I use this procedure every time because it is proven and has worked consistently for me for many, many years.

Makes a lot of sense
It is the best method to seat veneers. Glad the video was helpful.

Dear dr what colour code in this case , it looks great .
If I am restoring 8-10 adjacent teeth with veneers, I usually lighten the shade, normally to a B-1 or A-1 vita shade or even lighter A-1 or B-1+ if it is for a woman who wants considerably lighter shade smile. I refer to the shade of veneer cases in the Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry picture book with my technician., plus I have worked with the same technician for many years, so he knows the shade I am wanting when I request for instance, a B-1+ shade.

@@centerforard thank you very much for your answer 🌷
Do you take precement x-rays or only post? If not, are you just checking the margins clinically 1 by 1 before seating?
I normally just take placement radiographs. When you are seating a number of crowns or veneers at the same time, it can be difficult to have the restorations ideally seated when the radiographs are taken, so you do not get a good "read" since the restorations may shift a bit while the radiograph holder is in place. I check the interproximal contacts and the margins prior to seating. I know other dentists do it different ways and in dental school they often teach to take the radiograph prior to seating. I won't argue with that method, it is just not practical/effective in my practice doing the cases I do.

Hi dr, may I know if you will seat multiple crowns at the same time too ?
Yes, I try to normally seat all adjacent crowns and veneers at the same time. I have multiple videos on crown seating in the library of DMC.com.

@@centerforard thank you dr and have a nice day
Hi Doc, I want to get my silver amalgam filling replaced with the white one. However , i am afraid that i might be in pain when dentist will remove the silver amalgam. Is my fear correct ?
No, unless there is significant decay under the filling near or into the nerve of the tooth.
Hello Dr Cutbirth. Do you have a dentist you can recommend to me in the NorthEast who believes in saving cracked teeth? I would really appreciate it. I live in Connecticut - I have a bottom cracked main molar.
We are considering having a network of dentists subscribed to DMC.com so we can recommend dentists to patients like you. Even though we do not know their work, at least the dentist is interested enough in learning to subscribe to a learning channel.
@@centerforard Hello Dr Cutbirth, I know you can't really make a statement about a specific case like mine. (cracked molar) but I did see a couple of dentist and some said extraction, one said the tooth look good enough for a cap after a root canal. He determine my tooth was "dead" by using and electric shock and getting no pain Response. he had the device on 9 and no pain. Then on 2 he did a healthy tooth and it hurt. I was wondering if you can tell me a little about this electric shock. Can it determine a dead tooth? If the tooth is dead why do I feel pain when I bite down on it? I don't feel pain with cold or hot. Again any info about so called DEAD tooth(s) and electric treatment would be wonderful and very much appreciated. If a tooth is so called dead whatever what would your treatment be? Or do you have another test to see otherwise. Again these are general question not about my Tooth
