    Therapy....... Is a 100% right!
    If not for my weekend camping getaways I think I would have lost it a long time ago.... What with the Covid situation and the high cost of everything from Hamburger to Housing I’m about to loose what little sanity I have left. Getting away even for just a weekend helps me relax and forget the world for a little while.
    Great looking camp side food once again Carl. Thanks to you, I’m starting to bring my camping meals to the next level. One night Fried Shrimp, the next Spaghetti with homemade meat sauce. No Hamburgers or Hotdogs this time.... Even made Cheese Omelettes and Bacon for breakfast. Plus a big box of Tea for a brew...... 3 days last weekend, and it rained 2 1/2 out of the 3...
    My FT-818 decided to not receive anymore, and my Smartphone got water into it and decided it’s not going to charge. Froze to death in the tent at night, didn’t make one single QSO, but I still had a great 3 days camping out in the wet and soggy woods...
    Can’t wait to get back!

    6:42 As a Norwegian (with the "right" humour), it's fun when you say "cook". Say no more... ;-) Great channel, great video. 73 de LA6GHA. Hope to catch you on HF!

      I’m using a single gas cooker, they are quite generic, you can either use a canister in the slot or use the extension and use a bigger canister. I got mine from Go outdoors in the UK

    Are you going to do any frosty/ snowy camps?

    • @M0SZT
      @M0SZT  3 роки тому

      Yes I'm planning how to do deeper winter camps with the land rover, in the past I have been using the camping barn and Shepard hut type pods

    • @CaptainK007
      @CaptainK007 3 роки тому

      @@M0SZT yes I have been watching the shepherds hut shenanigans and the inclement weather antenna erections.
      I look forward to your Tubes.
      I also am going to have a bit of inclement radio/camping, why I don’t know. But as my Berghaus air 4 has a lounge, why not? For power to my FT991 I purchased one of these and it looks good. Just got to get a 100ah battery for it and tally ho.
      Bison BATTERY BOX CARRIER WITH USB CHARGER, LED METER, BREAKER & 12V SOCKET on Amazon. Keep em coming Carl 73 G7AWN

      Storming the Falklands by Tony Banks. The main element of the book is about PTSD after the war, very good book
