Great Britain. Herman Li and Sam Tottman did indeed record the guitars for the song on the album. They do not have any writing credit. It is clear to hear, the writers were thinking of Dragonforce, when they wrote the song though 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
Another great reaction, thanks! I'd try to answer some of your questions: - No, you can't have that flag, at least the original one in official stores. Maybe second hand one or some "unofficial" one. It's also the former logo. The current one lost Moa's hearts, Yui's skull while Su's wings have been simplified. - No it's not Herman Li on that guitar it's Takayoshi Ohmura. BUT Herman Li and Sam Totman wrote the guitar arrangements on this one and also played on the studio recording. So it's totally his style what you are hearing there. Li told that Ohmura is able to do things he just can't. - Su-metal turned 17 three weeks before this show took place (January 10th 2015) while Yui and Moa were both 15. - That catwalk is also a bridge suspended from the ceiling and they lifted it when it wasn't needed. There were two more side stages connected to the main one by traditional Japanese bridges. And they used every single inch of that freaking stage. Other tan that, this was the epic final encore for an epic concert, New Year Fox Festival - Legend 2015 held at the Saitama Super Arena with a sold out crowd of over 20.000 people. That was a 90+ minutes show, all performed with this level of energy... which is crazy. Fortunately, for this live video they decided to keep the live audio just cutting out the majority of the extended "We are? BABYMETAL!" extensive outro. That moment when they walked through the bridge was so special for them as Su-metal explained years later. She said that was one of her favorite moments on stage. She also made this song her personal anthem. You can tell she was on fire, specially during the second half of the song, by her expressions. Not to mention the moment she verbalized it by shouting: "Kakatte koi yaa!" ("Bring it on!"). Until next time! 🤘🦊
I hear this song was co-produced with DragonForce. Herman and Sam play on the album. And I once saw a video of Dragonforce playing in the background for them in one show.
Great reaction. If you want a flag you can probably get one from the merch stand if you can get a ticket to see them in Camden or Wolverhampton at the end of November (I got one at Hammersmith in 2020😎). This video was from January 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena. Su was 17, Yui and Moa only 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control. Even at that age Su just looks at the crowd, spreads her arms and the crowd opens up for a wall of death (actually several walls of death at that concert as the crowd were in sections. A journalist up in the balcony that night said he counted, I think it was, 21 mosh pits). As you found at the end, this was the last song at the the end of a 90 minute concert - they had been keeping that same energy up without any drop in quality for the whole time. It is what they do - they appreciate people have often paid a lot of money and travelled a long way to see them, they never give anything less than 100% for every song at every concert, whether that is one of their big arena concerts in Japan or at the many various sized venues as they tour the world. About the song itself - 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. No that was not Herman Li ... but good ear on his style - Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. They have said they made this more technical and faster than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live ... and that they had to practice hard when they did perform it with BABYMETAL at an awards show in London later in 2015. There are a couple of not great quality videos from that performance if you look for them. This was the Kami Band playing live of course, each one of them is a world class musician. In this concert the Kami Band were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars (Takayoshi has the glitter pink guitar) with BOH on his 6 string bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. You probably need to add 'reaction' to your titles or in hashtags or something - your videos don't show up in normal searches for reactions.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, shout! Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - This performance was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) on January 10th, 2015, with a sold out crowd of over 20,000. Guitarists that night were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus. The bassist was BOH, and the drummer Hideki Aoyama. Ohmura was the one with his ESP Snapper 7 signature model guitar in twinkle pink. BABYMETAL's lead singer Su-metal first appeared at SSA at an anime music festival in 2008 as the youngest member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old. She's been back since, headlining with BABYMETAL, although they also opened for 'Guns 'n' Roses a while back. She can see how good she is at controlling a crowd, even when she had just turned 17. Yui and Moa were both 15 at the time.
Many fans' favourite performance of ROR and even now after many years this still gives me a feeling of pride in them and what they have achieved 😁 many great performances of this song especially the end of Legend Metal Galaxy show day 1 . Just mention that foxwalk is lifted out of the way after a couple of songs at the beginning of the show and returned for this 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
3:37 _Now pizza time! (Pizza time!)_ 🦊🤘🍕 You're the second one I saw getting trolled by the ads lol SuMetal is relentless. They've been using this song as an ender (just like here) in all the concerts of The Babyklok Tour except the last one at UA-cam Theater in California, they did play it before the encore but the last song was Ijime Dame Zettai, that was the only time they performed that song in the live tour around US. And yup, you can hear the DragonForce vibes because in the album version you can hear Sam Totman and Herman Li guitars, they're very good fellas and they have a couple of stories together at Download Festival and other events playing together. Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Nice reaction :) Not sure which guitar player you were talking about but it wasn't Li, although he and Totman did write the music for this one. This was the last song of the set, you can always tell because the girls say their patented "See You!" at the end :)
Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce didn't write the music for this song, but they did contribute guitar tracks for the studio version. Official song credits are: Lyrics: KITSUNE of METAL GOD, MK-METAL (Miki Watanabe) and KxBxMETAL (Kei Kobayashi) Music: Mish-Mosh (Nobuaki Miyasaka), NORiMETAL (Norikazu Nakayama) and KYT-METAL (Keiji Kusama).
