Chapter 5 had me feeling so many emotions in such a short period of time. Indecisive about who I should side with, regretful for killing Cindy and Chatty, fucking ecstatic fighting with the liberation front and Rusty, pissed off at Snail for both existing and reigniting my PTSD with BALTEUS, and fucking depressed at having to kill Handler Walter with my own hand This was a roller coaster of emotions
Not to be mean but i think most people playing this game are just plain trash at games at this point. I'm at chapter 5 only now cuz I took a break after 8 hours of playing the game cuz I was bored out of my mind. It was a mindless, boring slog where you fight flies. I started having a bit of fun at around mid chapter 4, when I actually started getting a few options for what to use and how to use them, so a made a core that is pretty slow and heavy with big laser cannons, 1 that is medium with gatlings and cannons and 1 that is super light and fast, with a laser sword that I upgraded to the moonlight, rockets and pistol. I Just...killed all the bosses 1st try. I only died once to balteus because I didn't equip the weapon you are supposed to use and killed him in like less than 2 minutes after equipping that bubbles gun...I died once to worm because... Same fkn shit, I didn't have the needle cannon equipped and destroyed it like nothing after equipping it and... I died once to the really fast boss that has a 2nd phase ... That time I had the stupid needle that didn't do much against him and died with the boss at 1 HP because he stun locked me and wiped 9k HP...equipped vertical rockets instead and he went down like nothing. Seriously, the only times I've failed missions or died to bosses, was just because I didn't have some random shit equipped for that specific mission. Like I just failed a wave based mission where you have to defend a tower only because in the beat of the moment i didn't get that I can use terminals to get some turrets to help out. And that was like my... 6th death in total in the whole game? So far I'd say the game is a 2/10 for difficulty. It's as hard as spiderman 2 on the hardest difficulty. And it's not like I'm using some OP combination cuz I read a guide on the best shit or something, I LITERALLY tried EVERYTHING besides some repeat burst rifles, since they seem all the same. So far, the most fun I've had was going against the boss with the chimney on top and me having the WORST combination possible with rocket launcher, energy sword and normal shoulder rockets, so I had to fly over him and time each shot so it would go inside the chimney. Still 1st try but it was a fun 5 minutes. People truly overhyped this game and it's difficulty. As aassove from soft fan... They should have left armored core armored core. It's way too similar to souls games and it doesn't translate well, making the game super casual, boring and very limited. In Older ac games you had complete freedom over your ac, in AC6 it's only about the guns and the legs, the battery a little bit too.

Ah, one of the sickest fights of the whole game: A rematch with an upgraded Balteus, Snail at his saltiest and hammiest, Rusty fighting a fleet of his own in the background, and the Phase 2 music of Rusted Pride with the vocals playing all the while with excellent voice acting from all characters, such a great mission. By @JackNewbie555 (there's one thing to say, I can agree with him, A rematch with Balteus, the Very first boss that everyone rage quit, becoming salty and Snail was the first character in quite a while that hit that "so hateable I love him")
Yeah, they really did. The first three chapters just had really solid, fitting music, and Contact With You (Balteus), was stunning. (Spoilers for some enemy names) And then in the final mission of chapter 3, they fucking SLAPPED. The ice worm (cant remember the name of the piece but it was really good), Coral Guardian (CEL 240 ibis), The Man Who Passed the Torch (Walter), Stargazer (Ending/Credits), STEEL HAZE/RUSTED PRIDE (Rusty), Cries of Coral(Ayre), all outstanding tracks. SH/RP being my favorite, and it also has english lyrics, the 2nd half of which being rather easily distinguished once you read 'em: I can fly I fly high Watch the sunrise Into dawn Lost in rain Lost in wind Watch the sunrise Into dawn I fly high I fly high
Every time I come back to this song, it just gets better. Nothing will compare in a long time facing down Snail and putting that snivelling psychopath in his place.

Something's worth being said about this Track during this mission and the boss fight against Snail. Throughout the story I got immersed as 621, wanting to get the job done so I can be truly free of whatever debt that forced me to get augmentations. Then we met Ayre, we begin to rediscover our humanity as Raven. Begin to realize that there's more than just our freedom, the Corps are just crazed for money and don't care for the lives of the Rubiconians.
