I love how this pics up the more desperate she becomes The more desperate she becomes the more agressive and sloppy she gets In last phase she forgets to turn her shield on again Which in turn makes her easier
@@R-XI_Sulla She was having fun. But while she was having fun i was nearly dropping my controller because holy shit i was so close to losing that fight i inched out a win.
This feels sad. Like Ayre really cared about you, and wanted so badly for you to pick a different path, and she has to come to terms with your decision. Like she's breaking her own heart by fighting you while also trying to hold onto everything she cares for.
Coincidentally, pretty much what's going on. She basically never left your side for months on end, she got to know your version of Raven quite well. And here you come, ready to destroy what amounts to her entire species, including her. She sure as shit doesn't want to fight you, but she can't sit by while you kill her people. It's why both this fight and the fight at the end of Liberator of Rubicon are my favorite fights from this game, just for the emotional narrative surrounding them. Damn you Fromsoft, making me sad about mechs and people I never see.
For sure--remember that she took control of the satellites, and as a result could have just shot down the Xylem. You didn't even know where she is at this point, and Carla could only surmise that Arquebus was behind it, so she had the full opportunity to stop it all. Instead, she told you where she would be waiting for you. She met with you face-to-face, to try and plead with you one last time. And even when she realized you weren't going to be swayed, she died with the hope that despite everything, you still shared in her belief. Thanks Fromsoft. I really wanted to know what it'd feel like to carve my heart out with a spoon.
this song is so beautiful - tells a story - first is Ayre making her cry to save the coral - 2nd is sort of our response that we have no choice but to finish our mission - third part is Ayre and you in a battle
the 2:42 is what actually paints out the song. "Symbiosis. A shared life." ... "I saw the potential for our future within you!!" ... "You and I, we could have walked together!" The coral waifu just wanted a better ending for everyone on Rubicon. Including you. She hoped you'd understand. That's why she calls you "Raven" in the first place. Because she believed till the last armor point of her AC, that it is YOU who chose what to fight for. ..And you did choose yourself. She can't express how heartbreaking it is, but she has to deal with your choice. She has to deal - with you now. ... "Raven...You, were the only one..." - when she destroys your AC.
This fight reminded me so much of the Balteus fight, and I think thats on purpose- shes intense, and throws a lot at you, just like him. But shes not testing you- intentionally, anyways. She is doing everything she can to stop you, knowing your style, your moves, everything about you. But that isnt really enough, it never was. As she said, your strong, and dangerous. But you also fight for what you know. Thats what make this hard fight so worth it- you sacrificed your bonds, your friends. All to get to this point. You will make it worth it, wont you?
I would also add that this might be the loneliest fight in the entire game. For most of the bosses, you had Walter and Ayre cheering for you, motivating you... they, along with Rusty, who was a great rival and companion in some levels are some of the few people that actually care for you... but Rusty and Walter are gone, and now you will sacrifice Ayre to reach the end of the path that was passed down to you... and the only thing you hear is sorrow.
I like that your mix keeps music that leads up to the boss fight. Cuz those electric tones are felt throughout the song, but at the start is where you really hear them and get a semblance of what the pacing is
Whenever From makes a final/bonus boss some tough as nails lady expect to get your ass kicked. Also this was the last mission I S ranked. Fighting Ayre just makes me feel bad and it isn't doing a mercy like when I fight Walter.
option 1: let's commit a planatory system wide massacre to prevent a hypothetical overgrowth of coral. option 2: let's not do that and find another way, ok? Players cant decide which one is the better choice

Solo dire que Ayre es el jefe mas difícil de todos y con gran razon pues me dio la paliza de mi vida y cuando gane finalmente lo unico que senti fue un vacio pues en realidad no eh ganado nada, mas bien eh perdido a una amiga. 2:40 - 4:00 Is the best. Love the bittersweet emotions in this theme as a whole!
Why does it look like ayre is about to give the most powerful slap of god?
lets see,
its on a giant mech
runs on coral
its also on space so no air resistance.
A YUP, cause it is

this song is so goddamn good its insane
Had to run full gatling guns to finally take her down.
And even then, it was close...
