I'm a new subscriber of ur channel and really glad to join u as i have learnt great techniques today. Would love to see more videos of urs. Keep it up 👍
Thanks Khushboo for pinning my comment. Waiting fr ur new video as u were recently talking abt clarifying shampoo on instagram. Also a big thank u for ur plain water refresh technique which was mindblowing. U actually gave us curly hair goals. God bless you..!!
I have tried the plain water refresh and I do it only when I want to go out. When I'm at home and if I feel my hair is too frizzy then I try to scrunch my hair with a bit of aloe Vera gel and water in my palms and do a super quick refresh. Keep doing great !!! Happy to see your work getting recognized 😄
I have never refreshed my curls cause I didn't know actually ...And I am new to this cg method... And i am also doing the same mistake which is washing my hair in 6 , 7 days which is mostly every sunday... I am looking forward to try the plain water refresh definitely
On day 3,4,where water is not enough, after spraying, I took a small amount of leave in conditioner in my palm. With my fingers or palms smooth it on the frizzy sections to get the frizzy sections to clump again. Sometimes I just simply use water and ur diy flaxseed gel to refresh my curls..it's a saviour for me...it works every time
Usually I don’t refresh my curls but whenever I do I use little bit leave in if needed or plain water and coat every clump with little bit of water or leavin ! Works great for me
I have tried spot refresh with plain water...usually I don’t refresh i just wash my hair😂...but i will definitely try these techniques for better results...of course u r my curly genie❤️
I use 2nd method which works well and it gives me very good results even drying time is less. This video shows every cg girl how to refresh easy techniques 😻 absolutely loved it ❤️
Very well explained!!! I have used leave in conditioner and gel refresh. Sometimes i also do full wet refresh! Wet my hair, apply leave-in, detangle and apply gel. It takes time for my hair to dry, but it gives me amazing results❤️
I don't refresh often.. but yes when I need to.. I hv refreshed my curls with leave in mixed with water n then a little bit gel. It certainly gives my hair a fresh look. Looking forward to refreshing with Super Smelly gel.. hv heard many good reviews.
I have tried only damp refreshes along with leave in but results hardly lasted me fr 2hrs or so .also was never interested in refreshes since I don get time to dry fr long so am very much willing to try ur water refresh since it hardly takes 15mins.😃.thank you khushboo ❤
I have 2c curly hair and it loses definition and moisture three days after washing. So I have to refresh it on the third day. For me personally the second method works the best. The leave in and water gives perfect definition. It also moisturizes my hair. So it's my favorite method. Tbh your tips have really helped me a lot because I have just started with my CGM journey. You make it so easy for me. Thank you so much for all the tips. ❤
This is amazing job ,I'm new to Cg journey ,I've been getting all compliments since I followed ur methods ,I stumble on refresh methods so go for a wash directly ,since a month trying on refresh ,so I refresh with just water ,bit of leave in & lock it with a gel ,works
I've just started my CG journey. So I refresh my curls every 2 days by applying a little leave in and then applying a good hold gel. This method works good for me. You're my curly guide you and your curls inspire me alot.❤️
I have tried the first and the second method. Both have worked well for me depending the day after my wash and also the products I used in my wash day.
I have just started my CG JOURNEY, and I do 1st way as going budget friendly and sometimes I just use very little hair serum with water and do it❤️ thank you so much for sharing this😍
Refresh always works for me... I have tried all these methods n am always happy with the results.. I basically refresh with water on 2nd r 3rd day... N for 4th day or sometimes 3rd day I refresh with leave in n gel r just gel.. I also mux curl cream with water instead of leave in n refresh.. That also works. Btw awesome video❤️
I have tried all three methods and what works for me is the second and third the second one where we use products Because since I have just started with CGM my hair doesn't stay that long so I have to use a cream or gel or both for my curls to hold. Also when sometimes I really don't have time to refresh and have to go out I do the spot refresh just checked where I can see the frizz and refresh just those parts
I have tried plain water refresh and it did not turn out good at all! My hair was dry and stringy and honestly I don't like to refresh my hair I just wash it every 3 days because whenever I've refreshed it's not turned out that good. As always Khushboo the content you post has helped me a lot and looking at your results I might give refreshing another shot. You were one of the first Indian curly influencer I was introduced to and I really enjoy your content and make a wishlist of all the products that have worked for you. Amazing work❤️
Hi Khushboo. Being new to cgm I recently learned that curls can be refreshed too. I have tried refreshing my hair with leave in and water and it worked decently. Looking forward to adding gel next time for better results.
I've tried plain water refresh and spot refresh a lot of times! Such a quick fix these two methods are and big saviour!🙌 The plain water refresh would literally bring back so much shine and curly bounce back.. I was shook in the begginning how just water could do that! You've explained and showed everything really nicely in the video Thank you 🤗💕
Refresh with gel?🤩 I started CG only last year. I am not well versed with refresh. MostlyI refresh on day 3 if I have to go out, as I wash my hair anyway on day4. I have tried full wet refresh but never worked 😭. I have tried steam refresh but that also only works when I had good amount of product on washday. I refresh only super wonky bits with reequil conditioner in 1:3 parts or with a little leave in and water. I have been skeptical about using gel for refresh. Will try next time!
I have never refreshed since I haven't stopped out of my house! But will try out these three in the next consecutive washes so that when I step out I will know what works for my hair I am eyeing touch up refresh first 😍 Also there has been a lot of efforts in this video. Thank you for all that you do for us❤️
I do my refresh like you did, you sprayed some water on your palm and used praying hand methods to minimize the frizz. This really works for me. Or I'd either just not do the whole side and just few frizzy pieces and that works well if my hair are having good hair days for long. Also love all of your videos as they're so helpful ❤️ you've helped me a lot through my whole cg journey and I cannot be more happy to find you💗
I have tried refreshing my curls only if I want to go out otherwise I dnt generally refresh my curls ... I have tried refreshing by applying leave in conditioner and gel .. I will try ur method of refreshing the curls only with water and also the another way too the one in which u hve lil leave innand mix with lots of water.. this 2 I will surely try . Thank u so much khushboo for this techniques 🥰😘
Very helpful video. I am a cgm beginner and really need a refresh on day 2 . I usually use the touch up method with a little modification . Along with conditioner and water I add a few drops of argan oil too. Shake it well and apply all over my hair using praying hand method. And get back my shiney curls... 😁😁😁
Damm.. Refreshes are my favvvv!!!! I've always do refresh the most, it worked the best n best for me from the first day itself like dammm... 💝💝 And yes i can't do full wet hair refresh its like too much... So I'd just make my hair into parts, i wet it a wet it a littleeeeeee bit then i apply some leave in, a serum or max cream... This just dries in 15 mins for me and it's fun... Coz my hair atleast gets some moisture... For me refreshes are not just adding hold but mainly adding some moisture to it... Sometimes i add it gel... But yess i loveeee gel and I've so frekin wanting to buy this! 😍
Wooww, this is going to be really helpful. I don't really do refreshes since whenever I do I never get such good results but maybe now I know where it went wrong. I'm going to try the touch up refresh😍
This video is so useful❤..Firstly when i start my CG routine, seriously I dont like to refresh...after some months when i felt i want my hair to be good when i go out, i usually follow up a quick refresh like what you have done in the first method...Just take some water and refresh it (Water-refresh)...Later on I incorporate gel into this...Some more water + little gel and then refresh it...To me I dont like to add leave-in refresh (like what you say touch-up refresh)...but i really love the gel + water refresh..❤...And i use another way of refreshing is adding some light weight oil to my hair (just coating with it). I USE: Juicy chemistry sacha inchi lemon and peppermint oil....I dont whether it can be consider as a refreshment technique...But i just love it❤🌸
Hi chechii ☺️For refreshing (leavein cream + water ) Haven't worked for me well but with (conditioner + plain water )after that i use gel...... it's really working for me. Thankyou 🤗
Hi Khush, I have tried washing my hair only with water and then using the letscurlup gel.. I am new to CG and still learning and understanding new ways by watching the videos on your UA-cam channel, as of now they are working for me. Since I started CGM your content has been really helpful for me to understand the CG journey.. I would like to try the plain water refresh, Thank you so much keep uploading videos and coming up with easy content..
I am new to CGM, i frankly started doing it when i saw your videos on Instagram i kinda do plain water refresh and touch refresh. Touch up refresh do wonder for me as my hair are not much frizzy as u regularly use aloe vera on my hair.
I do the second method for my refresh. But along with cream I also add little gel inside the spray bottle. The spray bottle will travel with me wherever I go😂. I sometime refresh it in my office as well whenever I feel my curls are opening. Techniques i use is praying hand method and then I scrunch them cause I like shrinkage.
I will love to try all of them in next wash days😍but till now i just do that water refresh you told with a little modification of using little amount of gel at last😬that works for me😅
This is a very informative video 😊 when I was transitioning, I could never wet refresh. It would give me more frizz. I started doing a dry refresh with the help of a humidifier. As I have high porosity hair, a steam would never work for me. And I had a humidifier in my house already. It gives me wash day like results 😊 and I add more products (gel or leave in) as used on my wash day to refresh , just like you did 😊❤️ thanks for making such beginner friendly content 😊
I hav tried kayos botanical gel on little damp or almost dry hair . Actually its kinda dry refresh only n tried it for 2 days back to back wen i went for a mrg n stayed in hotel just took the gel with me . So it was win win . Curls were gorgeous as always
hello lovely, 9 monthes into this beautiful journey and like you said, refresh never worked for me. recently discovered dry refresh technique with mild hold wala gel only with a pea sized amount of leave in. whenever I try to add water, I get lots of frizz. somehow I only get decent result from dry refresh with gel. I am not a refresh person and I mostly invest more time and effort on the full washday. ☺
This refreshing tutorial was so insightful indeed. I'm a "water baby" by the way. Going for a cowash and stylers to refresh seems too overwhelming for me. The very first technique you demonstrated is my go-to routine since I started with my CG journey (one year to be precise). It's hassle-free and effective. In all fairness, loved how detailed the tutorial is. Keep growing girl!!
When you cowash and style, its washing your hair not refreshing. I live in a very humid place + it's summers + workouts so I am washing my hair 3 times a week easily so for that I need to cowash. Atleast twice a week. Once I shampoo. And yes when it comes to refreshing I need it to be quick. Also thank you 😊
I kind of do the touch up refresh.. but with slight changes.. like i don't mix them in a bottle.. rather take apt amount of conditioner on my palm.. emulsify with water.. and spread it on my hair in praying hands and roping method consecutively.. then follow it up with a gel in the same techniques..♥️ Also..water refresh is something that for some reason have never worked for my hair.. 😒
I did full wet refresh earlier although it didn't work well. Plain water refresh is what I do now and it works quite well. But spot refresh looks like a great idea to refresh my curls. All your videos are very informative and works great for my CG journey. I'm just 2 months new to CG and I've watched all your beginner videos. Thanks for sharing these 🥰
Wow, very well explained!! This is the video on refresh techniques we didn't know we needed, thank you for this because in the initial stages of cgm, I've heard the word refresh a lot but never really understood it well because of the overwhelming content on techniques and/or combination of products but with time, just like you did, I started the method where I entirely wet my hair and applied my stylers 🤦♀️(again like you said, better if I actually washed it maybe)-now ik it wasn't working because I used huge amounts of leave-in and gel without even diluting them🤦♀️. It didn't really work well and the frizz was persistent. But later on, I tried the plain water refresh and refresh with only gel and they works wonders!! (though I'm still learning). The next time, I'll try the touch up refresh but with more water this time and hopefully, it works for me too💞. About the super smelly hemp hold gel, it's gained so much love and appreciation in the last couple of months from sooo many curly hair enthusiasts and after your video, further more a reason to try it out 😍😍.
I'm a water freshener girl 😂 I like to do it . But whenever I go outside / function, I refreshes with water mixed leave -in and gel . Can't ignore gel 🔥
Very informative and loved all the results ❤️ I tried the touch up refresh but it didn't work well.. I will try the plain water refresh and see hopefully it will work this time.. fingers crossed ☺️
I haven’t tried refresh with styling products yet.. I am planning for one though.. Howe I tried refreshing just with water once and it turned out not bad.. 😊 BTW nicely explained.. thank you! ❤️
I've done the 1st just water refresh and 2nd leave in one, sometimes they work somedays they don't. But that's okay we can't have great hair day all the time😁 Will be trying the 3rd technique next, will let you know 👍
Very informative video Khushboo ❤️ I have done plain water refresh a few times .. touch up refresh just once before attending a wedding 😀 I feel my hair tangles up more by day 3 and then refresh doesn’t work that well 😒 applying little oil after leave in is a good tip will try that next time
Absolutely loved this video. The time & effort taken to explain every method in detail is incredible! After many trials I realized my wavy/open curls type of hair loves the water+ gel refresh. P.S. thank you so much for the satin post refresh tip, that is one mistake I make till date ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi khusboo, this is shalu, thank you for those amazing tips..so my experience of refreshing my hair is...I have tried some spot refreshing methods like I use some leave in hair cream and then use hair gel to curl it up. Other than this, most of the time I just go for normal water refreshing then damp curling...set it and done!. That's it :) Have a great day ahead.
Water refresh- If you have applied too many products on your previous day, just water refresh is enough the next day, touch up refresh-just leave-in conditioner and water in spray bottle followed by hemp gel with little water and spot refresh.
Thank you 😊 sure will try to. But the routine I have right now in my channel, if you remove Pre-Poo and use normal Conditioner instead of deep conditioning it will be a quick one :)
You are gorgeous n i love your hair! You just got a nee sub! You are fabulous and I'm learning a lot! I have 2c-3a hair. I love my curls and am on the constant search to perfecting them! Thank you for this, my friend! Xoxo
Damn this was something i was really searching for. The water refreshing is something i tried and also leavin+ water method too. Always felt it becomes clumpsy at the end of the day. Only now i knew that praying hand method is how refreshing is done🥺❤️ i was scrunching all along and it ended up tangled. And also the crown region tip was lit. Thankyou so much for sharing these. You are my curl saviour. Refreshing has always been confusing to me. And now i get it. Thanks for sharing khushboo❤️🌼
I have tried the plain water technique n it has worked well . I very much liked the leave in and water technique. I would like to try it as I feel that when I use only plain water , after some time I feel my hair dry . Loved this vid 💕. I struggle a lot with my second day curls n this vid helped a lot . Thanks 💕
Thank you so much for these ideas! I just started my CG journey -2 weeks ago (infact I started it only after watching your videos) and I am still figuring out what ways and techniques will work for me. I have tried the plain water way before on day 3 and gave good result. Will try the gel method soon.😁
Great and very helpful video! I have tried technique 2 and 3, but really wanna try technique 1 sometime too! That's interesting but i've never used just water. What I usually do is basically wet my hair and apply some gel on it, and scrunch with a serum once it dries.. I usually use my diy gel (which you shared in your earlier videos) but would absolutely love to use the super smelly hemp hold gel with hemp oil and flaxseed that you have mentioned. Thanks for the video :)
Hey !! Hair serum cannot help you with detangling. A good Conditioner/deep conditioner can. Also applying enough hair oil and let it soak in can also help. Also, thank you :)
Hi khushboo , ur so kool and inspiring i started my CG journey a month age ur videos did help me alot things r going good, whats the time period it takes that our curls r healthy and shinny like urs thanks !!!
Hi, New subscriber .Happy to be here. I am going to start cgm .Let me know when all u will wash ur hair and how to refresh scalp and when should we do it and also about cowash
Hey !! Welcome here 🤗 The simple answer to above is when you need. So do it as you feel the need. There are no rules to it. Depending on your situation, weather, lifestyle you might need it more or less than me. So what I can suggest is wash with a shampoo once a week and for midweek washes use a cowash.
Thank you for this auperb idea!!! I really wanted to try the second method. I just a doubt it might be silly, but the leave-in that you added with water is a curl cream or any other? Can i add a curl cream with water?
Such an informative and effortful video khushboo ❤️❤️❤️ I mean the amount of love u put in for beginners like us..it’s overwhelming😘 Ok so not a very big refresh fan but yes I do try doing it to stretch my wash days😣😣 I only follow the only water and/or the gel+water refresh The gel water combo works great for my corpse and thick hair Keep growing 🥰🥰
I tend to go for full wet refreshes, and it seems to be working well for me. But, after washing this video, I think I should go for spot refreshes. Awesome video, Khushboo! 😍 BTW, this is @picsbymansi on IG!
Hi khushboo… I’d like to thank you for this detailed video as i am too new to this cgm process. Also, I’d like to know if i have ouly scalp and on day 3 i feel the need to wash my scalp.. i shud opt cowash or shampoo. Also if i need to oil or put DC before wash. Thanks in advance.
Hey !! You are most welcome. I will suggest if your scalp is getting dirty use a shampoo. If scalp is clean but its just getting oily naturally then a cowash will be fine too
Hi mam ... i have long curly hair ... your videos helped a lot ...curl look so beautiful while opened hair but we can keep our hair open 24/7 can you tell how to manage it at home or how to tie them because while brushing n combing my hair i have a lot of hair loss ...
Hey !! You can ties them using a satin scrunchie or you can also make a loose bun using a clutcher clip. I also have a video on how I take care of my curls through the week. Let me share the link here
Yes that's true that products are there on the hair. But if incase you have not refreshed then there will not much product remaining on your hair. And you can anyway oil your scalp.
My hair only looks good for 2 days. Then I have to wash. I will try tips from your video. For some reason left side of my hair loose definition quickly than right side.
I'm a new subscriber of ur channel and really glad to join u as i have learnt great techniques today. Would love to see more videos of urs. Keep it up 👍
I am so happy to read your message 🥰 Thank you so much

hello lovely, 9 monthes into this beautiful journey and like you said, refresh never worked for me. recently discovered dry refresh technique with mild hold wala gel only with a pea sized amount of leave in. whenever I try to add water, I get lots of frizz. somehow I only get decent result from dry refresh with gel. I am not a refresh person and I mostly invest more time and effort on the full washday. ☺
Hey thank you so much for this video, it's really helpful and hopeful also. Thanks.
You are most welcome ☺
Also thank you 😊
I have done spot refresh before and it really works well. And thank you for giving this detailed video ❤️❤️
Glad to know that 🤗🥰
I kind of do the touch up refresh.. but with slight changes.. like i don't mix them in a bottle.. rather take apt amount of conditioner on my palm.. emulsify with water.. and spread it on my hair in praying hands and roping method consecutively.. then follow it up with a gel in the same techniques..♥️ Also..water refresh is something that for some reason have never worked for my hair.. 😒
I always end up refreshing with leave in n gel- will try plain water n experiment 'thanks
So detailed. I have been going cg for almost 2 yrs but your tips are very helpful still. I will try these out👍😊
I am so glad to know that. Thank you !!
@@KhushbooSinghvi 🤗
Ma'am ur plain water refresh gave amazing results
I am so glad to know that 🤗 Thank you for sharing
I'm a water freshener girl 😂 I like to do it . But whenever I go outside / function, I refreshes with water mixed leave -in and gel . Can't ignore gel 🔥
Amazing and simple way to styling
Thank you 🤗
Water refresh works for me just the best! Also ensures less product wastage haha😅
I even get a slight cast of the gel after water refresh..yaaayy!!
That's it :)
Have a great day ahead.
Water refresh- If you have applied too many products on your previous day, just water refresh is enough the next day, touch up refresh-just leave-in conditioner and water in spray bottle followed by hemp gel with little water and spot refresh.
I wouldn't say too many but if you have applied enough products. Its important to pass the correct info :)
Hey this is the best channel for curly hair beginners. I'd love if you could upload a quick wash day routine.
Thank you 💓
Thank you 😊 sure will try to. But the routine I have right now in my channel, if you remove Pre-Poo and use normal Conditioner instead of deep conditioning it will be a quick one :)
Loved the video, very detailed! I haven't done a lot of refreshes but I'm definitely going to try the "touch up" refresh! 👏❤️
You are gorgeous n i love your hair! You just got a nee sub! You are fabulous and I'm learning a lot! I have 2c-3a hair. I love my curls and am on the constant search to perfecting them! Thank you for this, my friend! Xoxo
Thank you so much and welcome here 🥰 I am so glad the videos are helping you. Thank you for sharing
Wao, the video is really helpful. I generally go for water 💦 refresh, it works well for me or else i use water plus gel.
Going to try refreshing for the first time tomorrow. 🙈
All the best 😊👍🏼
Me too
Damn this was something i was really searching for.
Definitely I’m going to try it ❤️❤️
Sure let me know how it goes 😊
Very helpful videos.. Thank u so much.. 👍
You are most welcome 😊
Your curls are amazing💖💖💖 love from Sri Lanka
Thank you so much 💖
I have tried the plain water technique n it has worked well . I very much liked the leave in and water technique. I would like to try it as I feel that when I use only plain water , after some time I feel my hair dry . Loved this vid 💕. I struggle a lot with my second day curls n this vid helped a lot . Thanks 💕
I am so glad it did . Thank you so much 🤗🥰
Thank you so much for these ideas! I just started my CG journey -2 weeks ago (infact I started it only after watching your videos) and I am still figuring out what ways and techniques will work for me. I have tried the plain water way before on day 3 and gave good result. Will try the gel method soon.😁
So you comb your hair only in hair wash day,Plz tell ne
Nice explanation dear
Thanks ❤
Most welcome ☺ 😊
I use my regular serum for getting back my curls😊
But I want to try the water one this time
🤗🥰 hope it worked
I always admire your curls
Thank you so much 🥰
Great and very helpful video!
I haven’t hair bunnet. How can I store my curl while sleeping?
I gave up refreshes - I just wash again 🙈🙈 Il try again n see if it works for me
Hey singhvi,
Can you suggest any hair detangling serum for curly hair...
Also...stay safe honey ...and keep helping all the CGs ❤️
Thank you so much 🤗 glad they helped. Time depends on your hair health and your lifestyle too .
Please make video for hair growth for curly hair...
sure will try to :)
Thank u dear for this lovely video
Most welcome 😊🤗
Very helpful video
Thank you for this auperb idea!!! I really wanted to try the second method. I just a doubt it might be silly, but the leave-in that you added with water is a curl cream or any other? Can i add a curl cream with water?
Which leave in conditioner u suggest??
Such an informative and effortful video khushboo ❤️❤️❤️
I mean the amount of love u put in for beginners like us..it’s overwhelming😘
Ok so not a very big refresh fan but yes I do try doing it to stretch my wash days😣😣
I only follow the only water and/or the gel+water refresh
The gel water combo works great for my corpse and thick hair
Keep growing 🥰🥰
If scalp is clean but its just getting oily naturally then a cowash will be fine too
@@KhushbooSinghvi thanku so much
First I hesitated to refresh my curls as I am clueless in starting CGM
Your hair is gorgeous 😍
Thank you 😊
@@KhushbooSinghvi welcome and your videos are really helpful.
As someone with low porosity hair. It is difficult. I pray I can get curls as beautiful as your curls soon. 😊
How often do you comb your hair ?
My hairs are shedding a lot when I apply hair mask during showers what to do ?
I comb them everytime I wash them. Maybe your mask doesn't have enough slip.
Hi mam ... i have long curly hair ... your videos helped a lot ...curl look so beautiful while opened hair but we can keep our hair open 24/7 can you tell how to manage it at home or how to tie them because while brushing n combing my hair i have a lot of hair loss ...
Hey !! You can ties them using a satin scrunchie or you can also make a loose bun using a clutcher clip. I also have a video on how I take care of my curls through the week. Let me share the link here
@@KhushbooSinghvi thanks

Video start with 5:00
Nahi actually pehle ka bhi bahut important hai but yes refresh tutorial starts later
I didnt have leave in can i use my conditioner instead of it
You can when you are just starting, but eventually I will recommend buying one
After products if we wanna do oiling next day for hair wash can we apply oil bcz products are already some how on hair!!!
Yes that's true that products are there on the hair. But if incase you have not refreshed then there will not much product remaining on your hair. And you can anyway oil your scalp.
@@KhushbooSinghvi ok thank you 😊 didi
My hair only looks good for 2 days. Then I have to wash. I will try tips from your video. For some reason left side of my hair loose definition quickly than right side.
👍🏼👍🏼 yeah that's normal. Happens for many people. Focus more on the side that loose definition faster
@@KhushbooSinghvican I order gel in pakistan? thanks a lot for advice. I have medium density wavy hair that are brittle.
@@KhushbooSinghvi OK. I will try.
