Very nice! I don´t know why I was thinking you live in the UK, maybe because of the first videos I watched with the Volantex ASW-28 or Draco... For people in Europe I can recommend Deluxe Materials EzeKote or Foam Finish. I use the first putting it with a brush the same as you. One layer is enough to be shiny but 3 layers give a super protections against dents and as it´s water based it doesn´t weights anything (almost) :D :D Best wishes from Bavaria, GER (by the way, this FW190 is so nice... I was gifted an old Kyosho in the same size, just the old retracts are very delicate on gras. I have repaired them many times. A friend just throw her...)
hello, I'm from Europe : you can use any water-based acrylic clearcoat paint, spraycan or can. Normally these paints are used for wood (also minwax). I use the CLOU aqua based paint series, glossy or semiglossy. semiglossy looks more scale IMO. There are also spraycans with waterbased clearcoat. Wondering why the manufacterers don't do it already. thx for the video.
That looks fantastic. Do you recommend reinforcing foam hinges with 3m blenderm and if so could that be applied over the Minwax? Thanks for you great videos
I have a FSM CORSAIR that has these little blisters all over it . I want to sand it down and do to the plane then prime and paint it. Do you know if the blisters will come back?? Anyone know? 🙋♂️👍🖖🏻
Very nice ! Thanks for the video. I’m about to brush my planes as well
Looks great! Just got an Eflight Beech 18 and I think I’m going try this on that ! 🇺🇸👍🙋♂️🖖🏻
Hi Jeff. Great video. Where did you get that plane stand, or did you make it yourself?

What is your favorite Dynam plane . A lot off folks say you need to be a builder to get one to fly right and build correctly

I’ve tried the spray cans but I prefer the brush on. The coats are thicker
Great demo Jeff. I’ve also used the minwax but the matte finish. The gloss you used looks fantastic on that Folker! Lol
Very cool and informative, great video also.
I would do a clear coat decal then do a flat coat.

Great job. Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
I noticed that you removed the cockpit “glass”. What is your technique to remove this, & what do you use to adhere it back on?
I didn't remove any of the windows, the canopy wasn't attached.
Do you think the Gloss would look even better than the Semi-Gloss?
It’s mainly preference- some guys will use the spray gloss Minwax then hit it with clear matte paint
Very nice, Jeff! I spray my birds with dulux clear gloss. Its foam safe and goes on a treat. Love the quick and easy of the spray.
Take care, man.
Great tip!
hi will pledge give this same hard shell look as poly??
Doesn’t that add weight to the plane. They say keep it light !

Jeff, that plane is a Fokker. Pronounced FOK ER .... not FOKE as in poke
Stop it Fokker,,,
