This is probably what I sound like when I bring my husband to places 😂 "do you like it? Is this funm are you having fun? How cool is that? You don't like it?" 😂
Looks like some of the cactus bones are actually cholla wood. It's a dead/dried up cholla cactus. It's frequently used in the aquarium hobby and aquascaping (shrimp really love it for breeding) if you'd like more or bigger pieces, you can check out your local fish stores/ online. Can't believe I never thought about using it for a pole!!
You and Ryan are so cute! Love “wanna come sit with me?” And the BFG reference, my fav book as a kid. Thanks for bringing us along, fun exploring cactus joes
I thrifted a planter with fake cacti decor and there was one of those sticks in the centerpiece which i used to trellis my hoya Imbricata 😍 i didn't know it was a cacti remains until now! So cool!
Thank you very much Harley, I never heard about cacactus bone. And very cool place, very big and quiet place. I love your video's thanks again .I was thinking why this video so fast over .so,so interesting 💯💯💯❤
The cactus at the 3 minute mark is an awesomely large Cereus forbesii monstrose (aka C. validus), usually called 'Ming Thing'. Fun video! Btw, some Euphorbia trigonas are green, but that one at the entrance was definitely a Rubra -- the red form.
So awesome! I think the purple prickly pear cactus is known as an opuntia chlorotica var. santa-rita (I just call it santa-rita opuntia usually). It’s on my wish list!
Oh wow Harli, this was such a fun video, so exciting that you are in Las Vegas and having a lot of fun. It is always so sad that our plants get those stupid mealy bugs, and also that the nurseries have some of them as well. I wish you and Ryan a very Happy New Year!! sending love and hugs. 😉💜💕👍🤟🙏🪴🌵✨🎉
I'm a Vegas local and Cactus Joe's is one of my fave places! Also, if you get a chance to go to Boulder City, check out Iron Rose Plant Shop - the best!
I would have walked away with an alien, a cactus skellie, and a cactus FOR SURE. I got so tickled at that last scene where you were smiling but the caption of regret. Sorry girl, I do that too all the time. Fun video!
The euphoria that you saw that you thought was sun stressed is a red type and the one in your bathroom is probably the green type. There’s two types a red and a green. I have both. It’s euphoria trigona.

Loved this. Can’t wait to see the cactus bones as a trellis !
Those tropical plants were so sad! I have the opposite problem here, with sad little cacti and succulents, because I live in a cloudy part of Ohio. I also think that big pot of succulents looks great.
I recently found your channel. I also live in Utah and love your tips. I have recently started a love in house plant. I’m trying really hard not to keep buying but it’s hard. 😂 anyways you should do something like this at a Utah nursery. ❤
I’m so mad at myself for not stopping by this place. I’m in Vegas right now. I looked the place up? But I thought it was just cacti and succulents and I don’t do well with them. Next time I come, maybe.
Hey!!! Welcome to Vegas!! Id invite you over but I live with my mom right now :/ I've been to cactus Joe's before, it's ok, not as many rare guys as I was hoping for. Vegas really sucks for nurseries, I have to order like everything even sorta cool.

Same with my mom 😂

Wow very good information, thanks 👍👍
Very neat place, thank you for taking us along!
I used cholla wood/cactus bones for my hens to roost on when they were babies.
You being obsessed with the cactus bones and Ryan just being like nahh 😅😅😅 But I totally would have wanted one as a trellis too 😉
Wow, so much to see, I would love to be there. The sculptures are fantastic.
So many cool things 🙌🪴❣️

The tall plant with all the dead looking spines is an octitillo. They get green leaves if given enough water. Love your videos-Mary from Surprise, AZ
Happy new year Harli and fam ❤️ ✨ I wish you more positive growth, planties, hikes and family fun to come in 2023! All the best Xx
Ryan good to see you again!! So, glad your amazing wife is rubbing her plantsness on you!!! You guys are so adorable!!!!!

At 3:55 is the same looks my mom would give my dad when he was working the camcorder and making sure that he was shooting she wanted.

I was thinking it might be that, but mine is tiny, so I wasn't sure 😆

Some of the bigger cactus bones look like you could stuff them with moss 😍
I want that ponytail palm!
Monstera Adansonii would be dope with the wood. Holes on holes!!! 😊
That would be cool!
Holy smokes that snow cone maker could be so sick! Please film it I’m excited 😅
You’re living the dream! 😊

Someone made a UFO chicken house I think it was on UA-cam! You NEED one! It would be a great birthday present for you from your hubby. Hint hint.
I need a UFO chicken house for my girls now too🐣👽
were you able to meet any subscribers on this trip? i wanna see a tour of their plant homes
love the subtitles

Those ponytail palms are tiny compared to how high they get in south Florida they get to be like 15 feet tall
Most of these plants look like they are on the edge of death. 🤣
Happy new year to you and your family!!🧧 It has been so much pleasure watching your videos as always. Thank you harli!♡
Cool!🌵
I can send you 3 different kinds of elephant food plants. They are easy to grow in az. Good video I'm so close about an hour away
I didn’t get to se you! 😮
What jeans do you wear?? I always like them
The red and green euphorbia are actually different kinds
Why are there little white “hats” on some of the cactus arms?
I was wondering the same thing. It was on several different varieties.
I would guess frost protection for the growth points
No takers for their house plant collection tour???
Is plant mum the new version of crazy cat lady?
💚💚
Your hubby is not having it lol. But I am.
🦋🦋🦋
Hepsinden istiyorum 😂
Don't you live in a Desert State?
Yes, I live in Utah but have protection from the rocky mtns & the UV levels aren’t as strong where I live
$600 for a dead cactus? That's crazy!!!!
Wow! You look like Lindsay Wagner. Nice place though.
Oof, they don't really seem to take very good care of their plants though as most of them looked unhealthy or had pests. That's quite sad
