Love your honesty ❤ please don’t feel embarrassed, you make some of us feel less guilty when we neglect a plant that’s out of sight out mind. You are my favorite female plant expert, and enjoy your sense of humor that comes with it. Keep it humble as you always do Harli, ppl love you for that. God bless you and your channel. May you continue to succeed in all you do. 🙏🌺🌴
I had the biggest laugh at your interpretation of the vacuum sound. I even had to rewind and call my husband over so he could listen. I've been crying so much these past few weeks and haven't had a hearty laugh like that for so long. Thanks so much for being unapologetically yourself, Harli. The world needs you!
Don’t beat yourself up! I think when plants are grouped together like that it makes them look better than they actually are. Once you single them out you can better see what each one is doing. You’re doing great!
You’ll have your plants looking great in no time! No need to be embarrassed! Life happens, happy to see you smiling and looking forward to seeing all the happy new growth!🪴🍃🌱♥️
I’m some places, just need to make sure not to let it out into the wild, assuming they live in North America. I don’t remember the specifics but earth worms are an invasive species that are pretty terrifying to the ecosystem
I’m so glad you posted this. I had my own wake up call recently and felt a lot of similar emotions. Thankfully I’m on the other side and have forgiven myself but it makes me feel better to know this happens to other people.
I’m sorry for the flooding, but wow you are a trooper and you made my day with the silliness in this video, can’t wait to see next video! Take care and God Bless💚
Harliii I looooved this video!! You are so funny and creative, I'm so glad you are doing good and feeling like yourself again, it shows when you seem to really enjoy filming. So happy that you ended up posting this video, no need to feel embarassed, actually it makes it relatable, was so much fun to watch! Thank you!!
Thank you for being so genuine, honest and real about your plant life. Gives us all the reassurance and encouragement that we need to keep going when we sometimes (not meaning to) neglect our plants. You're awesome 💯🙌🌱
I also love your honesty. We have children, jobs, partners, pets, gardens, etc, etc, etc. But, I would assign a certain day, to spend a couple hours maintaining this area. I am positive you will work it out. 💕💕💕
I would be spraying bleach all over that tent for fear of black mold!!! But wow I can't wait to see the grow tent reassembled and rearranged, it's probably looking amaaaaazing =)
Harli, you're my super hero. Idk how you keep so upbeat and take charge with these situations but you never cease to impress me. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm so excited to see part two!
Oh Harli!!! I loved how you walked through the grow tent doorway, holding your plants, giving us a different run-way model-style pose and walk 🤩😅 Absolutely delightful ❤️ PS I am so glad that you left the spider alone and recognised the value of the earthworm 🤗
Love, love, love your videos. You are so real and honest and so fun to watch. You are informative and just entertaining to watch. Keep those videos coming.
Sorry to hear about this disaster. On the bright side it did force you to do spring cleaning. Life gave you lemons and you made lemonade. Positive response is always the best response. 💞❤💕
What a great way to start the day. No need to be embarrassed whatsoever. You love your plants, you are human and mistakes happen. Personally, helps me to see you handling it and what needs to be done. Have a glorious day and THANK YOU
I'm sorry this happened but I have to say that I really love your attitude about it! Whenever I see a new video on your channel I get really excited! You are so fun and I think we need to be friends! 😊
Girl, you work like a Trojan! You just roll up your sleeves, doff your rubber boots and dive right in. Thank you for inspiring me to get off my behind, quit dreaming and start doing!
Don’t feel embarrassed! Life sometimes gets way too busy! I am having a hard time keeping up with watering my plants. With the cold weather the furnace has been coming on so often my 200 plants are drying out in 3 days and I can’t keep up. It’s exhausting!
So sorry to hear about the water in your basement. Your sense of humor is fantastic and I love that you keep it real. We all have neglected plants. Thanks for all the amazing content you share.
It's ok ! Your not alone, I just finished doing the same thing to my plant room. I neglected my plants for 3 months and everything looked so bad, on top of that I got a thrip outbreak and I had to treat everything. So don't feel bad these things happen.
Always better late than never Harli girl!! Im so sorry you are going through this rn!! You need some help! I wouldve loved to help ya out!! Its deep clean season for sure!! Love your videos Har!!
I can't wait to see what you come up with 😉 I think we all have certain parts of our plant collections that we are not happy with. You just happen to put yours out here for others to see. You have a plan and will, hopefully, be happier with what is to come 😉
So sorry bout ur tent. Glad u able to look at positive side despite the devastation. But a fresh start on ur room/tent. Maybe able to rearrange a way u end up liking even better! I kno i rearrange alot wen i find mine arent doing as gd around the house to spots they will do better in. YOU taught us that!!!! 🥰❤️❤️
You crack me up. The tap dancing, the goofy going in and out of the tent. I love it. Makes me feel less alone in this world. 🥰 Love how real you are Harli. I’ve found huge earthworms in plants when repotting. I imagine they find their way in at the nursery. 😂🤣. The vacuum sound 😂💕
I love your attitude throughout all this! I hope sharing this experience with us made it more fun for you and our words of encouragement throughout the process bring you some joy too. Your dancing/marching/leaping out with the plants definitely put a smile on my face :)
You are hilarious! Totally remind me of myself & my friends at your age. We were super silly like that also. Very rare to see such great silliness, so funny & adorable! What a chore, but so well worth it, and you will be SO happy when it is all done. What an accomplishment! Yay!
Omg! I'm so sorry that happened! But it's great to have the forced opportunity to deep clean everything. And it's also very relatable to see your plants that aren't perfect. I'm excited to see you put everything back in when it's all dry and clean! Also, the earthworm was so cute!!!
Oh Harli I am so sorry that your basement flooded. And please don't be too harsh on yourself about your plants in your grow tent. The Hoya you were holding and talking about how you feel you have been negletting your plants down there I feel like most of that plant is going to be okay, I would just cut off the long stems that have no leaves on them and just cut it back and the rest should be just fine. Oh spiders scare me sometimes, and that earthworm would have freaked me out a bit just wondering how in the world it got in my grow tent and where did it come from to get into the tent? Thanks for sharing this video and I will look forward to seeing you put your grow tent back together with all of your plants after it has been dried out underneath. I hope that you have a great day tomorrow, sending love and hugs, bye! 🤗🪴🌱🌵👋👍💜💜💜
I was the one screaming not to put the worm in your milsbo!!! I don't know if it's bad, but yuck! I'd be hyper aware of his presence. Fun video, and I love your dance moves lol
Vacuum voice over 🤣🤣🤣 AMAZING!!!! I'm consistently impressed at your various skills .... also the runway clips coming out of the tent were a super fun way to spice up the haul out
I've found the same thing has happened with my grow tent. Somedays, it's exhausting to go in there and take care of things. Don't feel bad. It happens to all of us.
Thank you for sharing this. You're a human and sometimes we burn out for a little bit. I'm so glad you caught them before they all died. Even if they had, it's going to be okay. 😊
Haril, you've got 2 little guys that are, rightly, getting a lot more of your attention and as long as they are thriving, all is well. That said, boy howdy!... that was a lot of work. I'm sure that by now you're back on schedule and the plants are doing great. This old gal wishes she had your energy and get 'er done attitude!
I love everything you post. You're so relatable, and you got me back into my favorite hobby (house plants) which I had been avoiding.. Mental illness man! MENTAL ILLNESS! But hey. These vulnerable videos give me life, and I can say if only for myself that you inspire me with even the videos you consider not posting. I love your content!
lol you are so cute! I thought dancing out of the tent was going to be the best part but I laughed so hard when you made the interpretation of the vacuum! YES! day made!
Welcome to my world. At least you can help those of us whose plants or some of them can find themselves neglected because life intervenes. Im looking forward to seeing how you get that octopus hoya back on track. Thanks for posting the video.
Looking on the bright side, you'll have a lot of great plant rehab projects after this! You have the opportunity to take some great "before" pics right now. Also! Seeing something slimy in an unexpected place totally would have freaked me out too. Nice job finding that worm a new home! Maybe it was in some dirt that got saturated with water, so it wiggled out of the pot?
Loved this harl fr fr love it the raw the real im going through the same thing in seein we are neglecting them but in defense i think we all go through this in winter but maybe just us lol thanks bestie xox your doing great
"I found a worm. I feel light-headed. I think I'm gonna put it in my Ikea cabinet" dude what was that thought process 🤣🤣 that's such a Harli thing to say and do

Sending hugs! Your plants will be ok with your awesome care💚
LMAO Harli, your tap dancing was 🔥🔥🔥!! I love that you didn't get discouraged with your flooding situation, and yes, I'm SO looking forward to my Maidenhair Fern growing spores too!!❤️🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for posting this… it’s real and I can totally relate!! I’m sick of watching the perfect house plant people!! I have kids too and sometimes neglect happens (more so now 😂)
omg Harli I love your realness and your ability to push through the rough stuff and be so funny through it - truly a gift you share with us lol I am laughing at you dancing the plants out of the tent :D much love to you
Oh I feel ya, we had two massive floods in our basement apartment last year. What a monumental drag. Just a freaked out that you might have black mold in the tent, or is it just wet?
I once bought a plant from a big box store and it was an outdoor plant I brought inside and it had TONS OF WORMS! They would crawl out of the pot if I let it dry out for too long 😭 one day I was cleaning my room and found one half dead on my carpet. Put it back in the plant and I think it lived. It disappeared off the top soil anyways 😅 Fun fact the worms were multiply in the pot because when I'd water there would be lil baby worms that would crawl(or fall) out the drainage holes and get stuck in the catch pot puddle so I'd always make sure to either dump the water back onto the pot a second time OR spread the love to a different plant 😊 I always know what plants still have worms because as the plant dries up the worms move to the bottom of the pot and displace soul in perfect little mounds and they move around so when I lift up the pot there's always little piles of soil where the drainage holes were and of course I just throw it back into the pot. Worms are cool lol.
i recently got a large ponytail palm and two days later had a foot surgery. I rushed and re-ppotted it thinking the soil combo was right then watered. Came home to the brown / grey stings of overwatered death. The trunk is squishy in spots. So there's me in a wheel chair and surgery boot trying to get it out of the soil. Ugh... I dunno if it would ever recover if I dry it out. Doesn't smell of root rot and roots look white just the trunk is sketchy and over watered discolored hair leaves. I feel terrible that over the whole thin and don't know if the bonsai mix will get here in time or if it's even save-able. Nothing is worse then feeling plantie terrible in plant parent hood...
You were hilarious in this video and you definitely shouldn’t feel embarrassed for neglecting some plants. I like that you’re not perfect, makes you more relatable. And randomly watching you sweep up the sludge was very satisfying. 😂

Why did your grow tent got flooded?
You’ll have your plants looking great in no time! No need to be embarrassed! Life happens, happy to see you smiling and looking forward to seeing all the happy new growth!🪴🍃🌱♥️
Yes, that's an earth-worm. And I think he's going to be happy in the cabinet. They're actually very beneficial 😊
I’m some places, just need to make sure not to let it out into the wild, assuming they live in North America. I don’t remember the specifics but earth worms are an invasive species that are pretty terrifying to the ecosystem
I just woke up and I get to hang out with you while having my morning coffee? What a treat 🖤
I love your vibe. Still being silly and trying to have some fun even in the worst parts. Can't wait to see what you do!

Lol that was a red wiggler worm, great composters. Won't that be great if you end up with a family of baby wormies 😂
😟

Aww wormy baby!! I think he'll be fine in your cabinet, I feel like that's a good bioactive addition!
I personally love "disaster" video, because they show the reality of having plants sometimes and i can't wait for part 2!
I appreciate your honesty and positivity so much Harli!!🌿🌹
Don't be embarrassed be proud for not letting it overwhelm you and make you give up! You did it! And we are all proud!
Loved the vacuum impersonation. You did it well my friend, very well. 😁

Underwatering is way better than overwatering! You got a nice fresh start

You are so adorkable ♥️🥰♥️ (An adorable dork), and I absolutely love it!!! Too cute and thanks for sharing your ups and downs.
LOL I love the interpretative vacuum sound! 🤣
That vacuum impression was my favorite part of this video
The vacuum sound made my day! New subscriber!

i gave this video a thumbs up specifically during the vacuum interpretation
That is a big job!well done, many will give up! Water has a way to get to places👎🏿
You will make it great again! 💚

Sending hugs! Your plants will be ok with your awesome care💚
The worm is good for the soil. 👍👍👍👍
Is this your second flood? Do you plan to add drain tile to stop or from happening or is it coming from top of the wall from outside?
LMAO Harli, your tap dancing was 🔥🔥🔥!! I love that you didn't get discouraged with your flooding situation, and yes, I'm SO looking forward to my Maidenhair Fern growing spores too!!❤️🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for posting this… it’s real and I can totally relate!! I’m sick of watching the perfect house plant people!! I have kids too and sometimes neglect happens (more so now 😂)
BTW..after a peace lilly flowers cut the flower off but leave the stick stork in. They grow straight and upwards not bunch out around the base.
How come your basement keeps flooding? Do you have a sump pump? That’s a drag if it will keep happening.
Yes, we have one
The water shelf where I live is quite high
This seriously made me feel so much better about me own plants!
Amazing vacuum interpretation👌🏼
I'm also a veggie gardener and I love when I find earthworms. It means healthy soil 😊
omg Harli I love your realness and your ability to push through the rough stuff and be so funny through it - truly a gift you share with us lol I am laughing at you dancing the plants out of the tent :D much love to you
Thank you so much!!
I absolutely love what a goof ur being in this video, makes me so happy lol
I feel for you! I had a pipe burst at just after Christmas and my house still isn’t back together 😅
I’m working on it though lol
That vacuum sound was hilarious
Oh wow this is a brand new one, I just went to check assuming this happened months or years ago 😂
Worms are cool lol.
the vacuumsound was to loud so here is my interpretation 🤣🤣 i love your humor!!!
Ok that vacuum sound was hilarious
The vacuum interpretation was 10/10 😂
i recently got a large ponytail palm and two days later had a foot surgery.
The tuff keep going 💪
We learn from failure.
Put your work boots on and go in the direction you push.
I’m always happy when I see earth worms! It’s a good thing but I hate touching them too lol I just throw them back in one of my plants!
You were hilarious in this video and you definitely shouldn’t feel embarrassed for neglecting some plants. I like that you’re not perfect, makes you more relatable. And randomly watching you sweep up the sludge was very satisfying. 😂
You are a great vacuum impersonator 😂 can’t wait to see part 2!!!
Subbed for the giant stack of sterilite bin lids outside the tent i felt so alone before that.
Can you explain why you use a grow tent? I’m confused as to why you have prop boxes in one room and a grow tent at the same time. Is the grow tent used because you are trying to make the most of your basement? Or is it because the plants are bigger and outgrow the prop boxes?
