Making Baby Groot Flower Pot - A Quick & Easy Paintjob N’stuff
A full Step By Step «video build» of how I painted and detailed the Baby Groot flower pot;) A simple and easy way of painting props with Acrylic paints, from start to finish. This was a gift to my beloved wife:) And the perfect excuse to show off a smaller project on this channel for once.

Filler primer
Assorted colours of plain acrylic paint
Medium and smal paintbrush
5 minutes epoxy glue

nice.. that is great finish, it does really look like wood, I like that character, who doesn't, I loved what you did with the eyes, especially right at the end, really brought him to life.. what is it, acrylic vanish or resin, what did you say it was... what printer do you use, and this is a FDM printer, and PLA is it??

This is amazing! But how did you send it? Especially the area of the eyes seems impossible to sand to me 😅
Thank you for that Fred & Potter😉 Yes, there was a bit of sanding. But I didn't want to include to much footage of it, since it was all about painting with simple and easy acrylic paints. P.s. Yes, the eyes are kinda hard to sand right😉 Cheers
I'm just starting to get into the world of PLA and painting, what filler primer do you use?
Hello there Sir:) The filler primer I'm using is called "Sprøytesparkel" Bought from a store called Biltema. But I guess that's a local store. Or at least a store chain in Scandinavia. But there is a lot of other good alternatives. As long as you buy just a plain "Filler Primer" And it does not need to be the pricy kind. Important: No matter what brand. Make sure to shake it good and long. Then give it several THICK layers. It tends to shrink up quite a bit when cured. Try out different thicknesses on some scrap pieces first, and you will get what I mean;) Have a great one, cheers
