Thank you! I’m almost positive I either decocked or safed it before bolstering every time in the video. If I didn’t, I was practicing safe weapons handling and using a holster that protected the trigger.
Great question. I don’t remember 100% off the top of my head. But the barrel bushing is expected to last 50k plus if I remember right. And that’s basically the highest friction component
Thank you! These are extremely nice pistols, worth is determined by your reason in my opinion… If you’re a serious competition shooter, wanting the best you can buy, it’s probably pretty hard to beat this. If you’re a collector that just wants an extremely nice pistol, these will fill that role as well. If you’re not training hard, though, you may never see the true benefits of owning a pistol this nice.
I'll put my two cents in regarding owning the Phoenix pistols. I have the Redback Heavy. Great gun and probably one of the best ergonomics, at least for my shooting. However, if you are in the US there is very limited, sometime non-existent, parts availability. The Attic is the only importer, and they are not able, thus far, to have a consistent supply of parts or recommend compatibility with parts for Shadow 2. Given my personal experience with Phoenix/Attic I would not recommend buying their guns till they develop some kind of service network in the US.
You'd be better off saving a thousand dollars or so and going with a Wislon Combat or Nighthawk Custom pistol. If you were to want to make alterations or (in the off rare chance you'd need it) have to deal with customer service, I'd rather have a gun made in the USA by companies famous for their service.
I would argue a Wilson isn’t quite up to the same level, but a Nighthawk definitely is. However, for a double stack Nighthawk, you’re gonna spend close to the same money as a Drake. I’m a huge fan of Nighthawk, and I agree the USA based customer support is a plus. But The Attic Imports is working on increasing their stock of parts, accessories, and firearms in order to help with this concern.
i strongly disagree. I own and shoot NHC, WC and Ed Brown - and find the WC the best of the bunch! But hey - that's why there are so many good choices out there - there's an a$$ for every seat! 😉👍@@TNRay
Thank you very much for the shout out! Awesome video showcasing a fantastic firearm! God bless.
You’re very welcome! Thanks for checking out my video and the positive comment!
Finally, someone other than the great, MDPolo Gun Channel, is highlighting this unicorn pistol!
Thanks for checking out my video! This thing is phenomenal!
She's slick! I'd like to try one, but my wallet cries!
I feel that for sure!😅
Attic gives you 120 days to payoff the purchase👍
Would be great to see a comparison of this and the KMR L-02 SPECTRA (also hand fitted S2 type for production).
If there was a way to get my hands on one, I would gladly test them out
Wonderful video and gun. Please always decock or apply the safety before reholstering a loaded gun!
Thank you!

What's the holster? Looking for a good option for my redback. Thanks!
It’s actually an old p320 holster I have that’s been opened up to accept a bunch of different guns…. Sorry!
Attic in Minot, ND is a great place😁
Love the people there!
I’ve never heard of the company that makes this handgun.
They’re not very well known here in the states, but they make fantastic handguns
thanks for the video.. can you tell me if this is worth the money. Or choose something else next time ?
Thank you!
