I found these headphones very comfortable for longer listening session. They have excellent isolation and are a good choice anytime mic bleed is a concern or if you are recording loud sources and want to give you ears a rest... Like their open-back Monitor 80 sibling, it is apparent OneOdio made these with music production and content creation in mind. These headphones are in a competitive price category. Let me know what you think compared to other options you have heard. The Monitor 60 are currently on sale for $63.99 usd (20% off) on amazon prime day (July 11-12). amzn.to/3pMfiOP Cheers, Todd
This is a highly underrated channel. I've been going through a few of your videos and the quality of testing and presentation of information keeps getting better as the channel matures. You are now one of my "go to" channels. Not a huge number of subs as of Q4 2023, but I think if you keep going that will change. Cheers.
Much appreciated, I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. Building a channel and a community takes time, hopefully I can provide some value along the way. Cheers!
Yoruba did a good job by showing me this video for the headphone comparison as a music producer looking for a good headphone for the money. Thank you for taking your time and explaining to us in a professional way!
I know I'm the Nth viewer to say it, but YOUR REVIEWS ARE THE MOST ACCURATE on the internet! Keep going. We're finding you, and you're my new headphones guru-- I've bought two pair bc of you, AKG K240 Studio for mixing and 512 Academy for monitoring!
Hi Todd! You previously reviewed the Philips SHP9500 in a previous video and i would also love for you to review the Philips Fidelio X2HR, it’s a headphone from Philips that’s directed at critical listening and hi-fi listening, so i would like to see you run audio tests on them. Keep up the good work!
So awesome you included singing samples, great video but not surprised they performed well, I got some $30 oneodios just for the lols and I couldn't believe how decent they sound. You can see and feel where they saved some production budget, tho, I wonder how much that improves in this more expensive ones.
Glad you enjoyed the review. I found the same thing when I first tested their Monitor 80 open-back headphones. You can see where costs were saved on materials / build, but the sound quality was far above what I expected. The 60s did not disappoint... Cheers!
I have to thank you very much for all the work you put in headphone testing. I was looking for a decent one to use with my Genos keyboard, both for just listening while playing as well as monitoring when recording keyboard and microphone on the keyboard. For me the Sennheisers in this price region where for me lacking in the mid.high range and I feel these OneOdio Monitor 60's suit my hearing needs well. The direct headphone to binaural microphone tests where an ear-opener :-) And yes, this afternoon I think I watched over ten reviews so you were doing a darn good job for me. As I want to keep it on budget for now, I will definitely go for these. Thumbs up!
Ok people, I seen the good reviews on this, so I bought it. Cost was about 50-60 eur. I feel like I just robbed these people. This headset _should_ be sold at a much higher price. I have NEVER heard that kind of quality sound coming out of headphones. Any headphones. Or speakers. In my whole life. It arrived in a high quality box with everything in it, all you need, 3.5mm cable at a generous 3m, 6.5mm cable, and a mic cable. Everything says quality, the quick guide, manual, the box, the headset, everything. But this is nothing until you hear this headset. I have no words. Can not recommend this headset enough. This headset sounds better than any headset I ever owned AND any speakers as well. The sound quality is _unbelievable_ , it's like I listen to music for the first time ever. Amazing. ❤ They are also super comfortable, you can feel the quality just by wearing them. This kind of quality should be illegal. 😃 Get them as fast as you can!!!
That’s because you probably had never heard really good headphones or Speakers! 😅 That’s the problem with most peoples! They buy Jbl bluetooth speakers and beats headphones and crap like that! They’re much to expensive and have absolutely shitty sound! They are allways boosted as hell in different regions and are not even near on a neutral sound! Good phones/speakers should sound like the artist/producer of the music has made it and wants that it sounds! And this headphones does that really really good for its price! Now you have experienced the first time, how the music that you hear should sound, that’s why it’s so incredible for you! 😌 For me as an audiophile person, it’s absolutely horrible to hear music with most of my friends and a lot of people! Because they all buy jbl, bose or sony Bluetooth speakers and Shit like that who sound absolutely disgusting 🤮 for audiophile persons…. How often i hear people say „JBL does the best bluetooth Speakers, they sound better than all other brands“ … 🤮 This makes me so damn angry everytime! They sound horrible and especially for this high price that they cost! 😤 Man you can buy a speaker who is sometimes three!!! f*cking times Cheaper and is in every single aspect better and sound WAY BETTER! 😒 People really don’t care about how expensive and bad things are with headphones/speaker…. They buy it simply because they know the brand, a lot of other people buy it and because they’re expensive! And then they think that it sounds good although they don’t know anything about frequency response and things like that and have absolutely no Clue how Music should sound! 😤 And then they call their speakers and headphones proudly „the best“! 😐🤣
Currently own an M40X and HE400SE. Love the HE400SE (especially since i got them for only $70). I like the M40X although occasionally can find them a tad boring (understandable with them being targeted to be studio monitors). Wondering if i should sell my M40X to get the Monitor 60 AND Monitor 80? I can get them for only 50$ each. Love all the extras the OneOdio offers, but mainly wanna focus on the sound aspect of these headphones. So is the M40X considerably better? Or are they close enough that it would be better value to get both the 60 and 80, as opposed to keeping the M40X?
Great value on the HE400SE! That’s a tough question as I find the M40x very useful for referencing mixes. The Monitor 60 and 80 are however very good headphones that also provide an accurate representation of program material while being a bit more “interesting” to listen to vs the M40x. If you can swing a set of 60 and 80 I would say they have more to offer vs one set of M40x. I don’t say this lightly as an M40x user for years, but I am very impressed with these two sets from OneOdio. Hope this helps out!
@@askdrtk Thank you for the quick reply! And thank you for the insight. But yes, the value proposition of getting both for cheaper than my single M40x is really what's making this a difficult choice. As you said, I think the M40x is great to have in your arsenal for use as a reference, but for pure music enjoyment, I have found it a little lacking at times. So far, the Monitor 60 seems like it's maybe 70-80% of the way to an M40x? And if I can add in the Monitor 80, then that would give me even more flexibility and flavors. Tough choice!
For general music listening and gaming, the Monitor 60 provides a “more pleasing” experience with moderately enhanced bass whereas the M20xbt has the advantage of bluetooth and is also lighter / cooler to use for longer sessions. Both are good headphones, I would say the choice comes down to what is more important to you. I hope this helps out!
The 60s have more lower bass and sub-bass extension compared to the M20x. I wouldn’t say either has overly exaggerated bass. It depends on the genre you are listening to. For EDM and HH where sub-bass tends to be more prevalent, the further low end extension on the 60s is more able to reproduce those frequencies. Genres where sub / low end is less dominant, and in particular those with more mid-bass content, fit the M20x very well.

Should I buy OneOdio Monitor 80, OneOdio Monitor 60 or Superlux HD681 for music and movies?

Best headphone reviews on UA-cam. Excellent verbalisation of the measured findings. You are what the "Quantified Scientist" is for smart watches.

Audiotechnica mx20 bt or this one for music and gaming need some help please i am note a professional audio producer

thought the opposite

So is 60 better than the 80?
For me, the main no-no is that they only go down to 20 hz (according to the specs).
sending love and peace to everyone...
