I have the Ugreen Max5c pair of headphones. They were actually out before OneOdio focus A5 headphones. The only thing, the Ugreen pair is even cheaper then the OneOdio pair of headphones 🎧🎶

I really like these...far better than the old DT770 Pro 80 OHM, strange mine are very good for music & gaming... they take a couple of hundred hours to run in...big difference after a couple of months of heavy Rap & burn in CD's...good cables, well made, horses for courses i guess, i A - B'd them both together, i use them mostly for PC & UA-cam...i luv them, there far better than the 770's...perfect for UA-cam etc...nice narrow fit, far better than the wider 770's...soz you did'nt like them they got some great review's...48ohm so easy to drive...the best closed back headphones i have heard under £300...i'll be keeping mine for UA-cam etc & online...they work well with my phone for Tidal music when on the go travelling etc...

I've been using this for 10 years and no regret! Great cans! The only thing I changed are the pads, but the new 3rd party pads are actually fit better, the only irreplaceable thing deteriorated is the coating on the headband padding which I don't really care much! I see AT released A70x or 80x something but don't really feel for upgrading since the current once are working like the day 1 (post burn in of course)...

Hmm..must remember to boost the lost highs on vocals. That was noticable even through phone speakers! A lil bit 'meh' compared to the original source recordings.

When you said "Denon receiver" it was done for me. The AV receiver's job is to receive the video+audio, so just hook it up to the Xbox 🤦

I have a question, and I'll tell you it's the only serious channel on UA-cam about headphones, the rest are just opinions, yours is technical. From your experience, how does the variation in the headphone curve really affect the difference between what was recorded and what you're hearing on a headphone, could you tell me in which parts of the audio spectrum this influences the most? I'd like to know where I should increase and decrease the spectrum in my mixes so that they don't cause problems on different headphones. If you don't know, no problem, I'm using my AKG K240 mkii, my mixes have never been the same since then. Thanks for that.

I'm kinda divided on getting these, m20x or monitor 60 since they are in my budget. I am a beginner in building home studio, I'll need a pair for recording and mixing. Is monitor 60 sufficient for that purpose? Which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Tracking with an amp cab mic'ed up it's not a big deal. Usually the cab is loud enough that you won't be able to hear the phones. Where you can have issua is tracking acoustic guitars with a condenser mic.

I own many headphones, hd 280 pro, mdr-7506, hd 560s, hd 25 plus, AirPods Pro 2, momentum 4. The set of headphones that are my number one for comfort and non fatiguing sound over long listening periods is the hd 280 pro, I use them mostly for listening to music and mine have been used everyday for well over 2 years now and still feel and look new, cable is in perfect condition and the pads are slight broken without any signs of cracking, I noticed when I first got them they didn’t have a lot of bass, but idk if it’s just that I gotten used to them or they have broken in really well but the bass on them now is perfect to my ears, nice and tight without being boomy, I can’t recommend these headphones enough.

I tried these headphones with a number of music genres, so hopefully there is something for most of you. I will say I found these headphones to be very comfortable for long listening sessions and their connectivity and battery life were both excellent.

Boy, those sure aren't for my taste. They sound pretty muddy, with that extremely lossy upper end. Sparkle extracted. I'm not sure I've ever seen another headphone measure that badly, not just all over the place, but in some areas, off a cliff, so to speak. 20 db in half an octave is not good, unless you are a filter. Spec like they list those are useless, 20-40k means absolutely nothing only that they could detect some sort of noise coming out over those frequencies.

I would like to see you review the AKG K612 PRO, AKG claims that they "deliver natural sound imaging for professional monitoring" and that they have a "full, spacious sound". It would be great to see a review of those as well!

I recently got one, used. I had a bit of trouble at first with the drivers. I realized that I wanted to access the focusrite control software. It started working right away. Once, I got the right version, everything has been great. I like how it can function with out the computer. Works like a mixer there.

i got a bunch of mics...i'm always looking for a bargain..this escaped me when it came out. I really only want to see what it sounds like on my voice, i do lot of harmonies, and i just think that cut, neutral, boost switch could be interesting to play with. sometimes in a recording it doesn't have to be the best most expensive mics, that make a recorded song come to life. i sometimes mess with kick drum mics when singing baritone..is all fun. this was a great review...liked and subbed...exactly what i needed to hear.

Hi Todd, I really like the unbiased reviews you present on this channel. As I'm in market to buy a pair of headphones, I watched many of the reviews you did. There is one more feature I'd like you include inside these reviews. I have a small head, and I'm shaved. Because of that, many of the headphones are very large for me. I've just ordered Audio-Technica M50x and I have to send them back. I may need nearly 2 cm of padding onto the headband to fit well on my head. I think it would be helpful if you can include in some way your thought about right fit size. I'm looking for over-the-ear monitoring headphones, good/ acceptable isolation, detachable cable, good for travel (collapsible) if possible, to fit small head. I use them for on site monitoring for video & audio dialogue and ambient recordings. I'd appreciate it if you'd have any recommendation for me. Thank you.
