We appreciate your business!
The rounded lugs, Arabic numerals with a slight serif, and those sculpted reverse spearhead hands work so well together to give this timepiece a unique elegance.
I actually really love that "half" exhibition back. Never seen that before.
Tissot does something similar to this on some of their models too
Got the gold one for $650. At the price it seems reasonable, I would never pay top whack for a basic Sellita movement.
I got the watch today, it's the gold color bezel and hands, white dial and brown alligator leather strap version, number 25/350, it was the last one on galaxus for sale, probably one of the last pieces available in Europe and maybe the world , with a little discount, what can I say,
in one word : fantastic !
I knew it will not be a disappointment, and I was right, one of the best purchases I ever made. Chapeau to the Designers from New York, the Swiss team who made it and the Bulova / Citizen group company for making it possible . I hope Bulova will keep making such special and limited edition watches from time to time, I will be there to buy them, and tomorrow I will get my bulova computron 🧐👍
Thanks for keeping the closed captions. I have my father's 1953 Bulova automatic. Rode motor cycles, played golf and just wore it anywhere. Still works. My new Hamiltons say I should not play golf with them. So I can wear them when I am watching watch videos on you tube.
Beautiful watch, Its nice to see a Bulova with a Swiss movement rather than a miyota.
It is nice to see. I just wish we saw it more often.
1920's -1930's design i love that , vintage looking dress watches are my favorite .
I love the watch models Bulova are bringing out, but I'm not keen on the date full stop, being Artdeco design. Otherwise a beautiful looking watch Teddy!😎🇦🇺👍🏻
Gives me Hamilton Murph vibes but with their own design language
Funny, I was watching that review right before I came to this one.
Same here, it’s nice to see the Art Deco design - one of my favorites for architecture.
Except I can fit in this one!
I hope this spurs Hamilton to offer a 38mm version of the Murph
for a $1,000 this just prices it in way too much competition especially on the second hand market
Shoot, on the used market, for that price range, I don’t think this watch would even be a thought to some people lol.
@@Rch_P yeah, agree I get it’s using a nice sellita movement. But the brand doesn’t have that much power behind it and for $1,000 even some new watches from some respected Swiss brands enter the conversation. I would consider a Tissot or certina before one of these Bulovas
The strap is made with alligator leather, the movement is a good quality Swiss movement, the design on the backside is kinda special, the overall design is cool and stylish , the case size of 38mm is perfect, and on the top it's a limited edition for each version. You can't go wrong with that.
Beautiful watch, will make you look like an elegant timepiece gentleman 😊⌚
Get rid of date window and then watch would be attractive.
Ugly date window
Exactly!!
Another well produced add, great video
@Teddy is the lug to lug measurement 44mm like you show in this video or 47mm like you have listed on your website?
Great review! It would be so amazing if Bulova did an everyday watch with 100m water resistance, within 40mm case size, with their smooth sweeping precisionist movement! And Teddy can you please review the new Tissot PRX Powermatic 80? Would love to hear your take on it!
I Can't understand the fetish some watch enthusiasts have towards diving watches, are you all living under water ?
I am in agreement with others here that the date window is an eyesore. Without it, the watch would be so much better.
Really nice look. Great lugs.
Nice offering from Bulova, not sure about the price though.
I don't a see problem wearing this with a casual outfit. Screw the rule.
I could see that. Maybe with a brown leather strap with lighter stitching??
Interesting choice to put the Bulova text instead of the Bulova Logo.
Beautiful watch, destroyed be a badly integrated, not even color matched date window.
I thought the same thing. Their Joseph Bulova & Sanatra lines brought some really nice classic designs back. Only to be short handed by strange date windows or out dated movements.
@@Rch_P Yeah these movement choices were really fucking weirf
Do Review on Geckota G-02!!!!!?!???
Bulova are very like constanin weisz. Within their range the watches can be Chinese Swiss, in the case of bulova Germany in the case if weisz. Are they budget or entry level into quality watches as they have chronos in the low hundreds, in the case of weisz very low hundreds, with Chinese movements but also 3k price tag with Swiss movements. I recently bought the bulova sutton rectangle faced with gold numbers and fork logo with Japan movement for £200 and a constantin weisz Ltd edition chrono, Blue face red filled markers, for £130 with at st19 movement, even ebay sugess cost more than that. I think lack on transparency harms these brand or at least holds them back. Here's a question for bulova. Where does the model names come from like bretton and sutton as no where in packaging or the watch or papers is the name mentioned, rather like seikos frozen margarita or any of the cocktail watches.
Thats a nice looking watch
This watch was on my wishlist for a year now, the black dial version was my favorite but it was either sold out or to expensive on some platforms, so instead I bought the white dial gold bezel version, the price was ok i think.
Interesting and different. Cool
In the first glance, looked like Khaki Murph, which is cheaper I believe.
Great looking watch... Except for that date window. Either get rid of it or make it black. Personally it's such a dressy piece probably not every day wearing so get rid of it IMO
If only they left the date window off.
900€ In Spain
The date window destroyed the watch.
There is something wrong with Bulova but I can't pin it down
The prices - ridiculous.
That date window is triggering me :(
You’re not the only one. Seems like a unanimous opinion in the comments.
Too big, nicer to have been 33m without the crown, the date window was in the wrong place, should have been the 3 was.
That's disappointing, for a watch with an asking price of over $1,000 the strap had better be more than just mediocre.
I truly don't understand why companies continue to bastardize and really mess up Aesthetics of nice watches by putting in date Windows as an afterthought. Just because the movement has a date doesn't mean you have to use it. And if you do use it why don't you make it actually tasteful put it in the right position which is the 6:00 color match it in at least try to frame it or something just doing a cheap ugly cut out small with a white window that does not match the watch at all is really a waste
I recently bought a Joseph Bulova Limited edition Commodore swiss movement. However, when I registered the watch I noticed the Serial Number is as follows: "CXXXXXXX" Furthermore, On the back it doesn't say "Limited Edition" and no Limited edition Number out of 350 pieces. Does anyone know why is the watch like that?
Thanks!!
How much did you pay? Could be a fake one, but why should anyone make fake Bulovas even if it was a limited edition 🤔
@@archie1554 HI! I paid for it retail price which was $1,200 or $1,300. I actually contacted Bulova Customer Service sent them pictures of front and back of the piece and they answered saying that the watch is Authentic however it doesn't have a serial number because it was the watch that was used in showrooms when it was first released. I was just happy to know that it is authentic and the reason why it had no Serial Number.
