American has Thick sound and Round note like a Full body wine but Japan is not far behind. If both plays with different amps you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The sound is not far different. We all know that American Pro ii has won cz of the the pride & the price. As long as it is Fender, Hybrid ii is more than enough for me since I'm not a Rockstar. I've got one (blue forest). The playability, the craftsmanship, and the look are more than enough (much better) than Squier or any other cheap guitars. Cheers
