See you all soon.
As an lithuanian i can say for anyone looking for work, if its international company you ok with only english, but you have to have a degree
If its gonna be simple manual labour sorry but if you don't know any lithuanian its nearly impossible for you to get a job( its not racism but lithuanians would rather deal with people who are less hassle in job in general)
People speak english more or less, but we prefer to speak our own language
You speak your own native language in your country so please don't get offended or call us racist when we prefer to do the same
You’re right bro I understand how you feel about this because your ancestors and parents fought to build Lithuania for the benefit of the future. Nobody will take away your tradition and you’ll always speak your language. But also understand that you’re not in these alone and there also humans that bleed sweat and blood like you helping to build your nation globally. You have to take easy on them and understand that this is how the world works. Thank you
Thanks for sharing, Kindness. I see where your heart for charity comes from.
And it's great to see that you're at a place now where you feel you can share these negative experiences for the benefit of others. Congratulations on the growth!
Thank you very much!
Wow! I'm so happy to have found your channel. Thank you for doing what you do. I'm also a foreigner living in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Heyyy, hope you are doing great here in Lithuania. Welcome welcome 😊
Does it means Lithuania is a bad country
You're very hardworking and smart my love. Thank God for where you are today❤❤❤
God is good and Faithful. This we know for sure!!! 🧡
Ayaa!!!, poor you. It's all story now. Thanks for sharing your experience
This video is so informative . So proud to be a subscriber .thank u sister.
Hi, im a lithuanian, the thing about bosses not paying priper wages is quite common in the most of low end or seasonal jobs, luckily enough, city and town councils can resolve that issue very fast if you just get a face to face appointment. The wage cheating is more of a large city thing, as the lesser the population of any town or village, the more attention the local governing body can give to their citizens.
This is some crazy story more people should talk about this kind of stuff
I absolutely agree with you. Thanks for watching Nick,.
First time here and i totalky enjoy your video 👌
Very natural
I'm very sorry for such horrible treatment. Glad you made it, built a career and stayed in Lithuania.
This is appalling but not surprising. Some lithuanian people can be very “ cliquey” and I would struggle with this even as a Lithuanian myself. You are so resilient, it’s unbelievable! But, I’m sure you know, or you would have been gone by now, most of us are not like that at all! I’m sure that most of my fellow Lithuanians would agree that you are our dream immigrant and we would love for you to stay here as long as possible.
Thank you for showing love to our small country and best of luck!
Thank you so much for the heads up
Your very truthful it means alot from guys coming from africa coming there. most guys dont tell the true stuation in europe
Appreciate your efforts. Keep it up for humanity. You are helping people. God will help you in return i believe.
Thank you and Amen.
Mehnnn you went through a lot. I’ve got horrible experiences too with these odd jobs from being underpaid, exploited and used. It is very imperative to sign a contract, but it is even more important to understand the terms and conditions that apply, especially in non English speaking countries. You went through it, now look at you! Thank God. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, blessings!
¡Hi Kindness Aniogbo! I am lithuanian living in Mexico for the last 17 years and YT recommended one of your videos...This story you told happened to me tooo...IMAGINE...and I AM LITHUANIAN!!!! I was a university student in my first year and worked in a 5 star hotel always full of international tourists groups (buses and buses of them). I worked in the mornings shift serving swedish table breakfast. We were like 5 waitresses in the morning (started 6 am - finished 6 pm for about 300 litas (curerncy before euro)...that was not enough for nothing). So, one morning my dear colleagues left me alone, they didn´t call me or texted me that had any problem and wont be present to work, I had to serve that table full of different dishes, like fruits, porridge, eggs...etc and etc.. all the plates cutlery...I did it alone, opened at 7am and 100 guests entered. ¡¡¡ME AND 100 PEOPLE ALONE!!!! ready to have a brekfast and I had to do it alone...and GUESS WHAT, my colleagues entered about 8 am through the main restaurtant entrance like queens and left to change their clothes, so calm and serene...I didn´t say nothing to the director even she was friend of my moms friend...worked there for a month or two and left. Was the worst working experience ever!!! So they are not like this only with foreigners, many lithuanians lack of empathy and simple human sensibility and I thought this changed during the years but after watch your story, I think there is still a long way is waiting for them. Hope one day they will be able to have more tolerance, empathy and love. ¡Linkejimai is Meksikos!
Its not only in Lithuania. Even in one of the most popular country in Europe (no names), you face even worse when you start working. You are ignored and snubbed in the office. You will be sitting next to a person for months and they dont even acknowledge you or respond to your greetings. At a point you stop greeting them but then the coldness increases. You just have to develop a thick skin and work on your craft. After a few years you dont care anymore. After all you are there because they need your skill.
I never knew this behavior exists. I think you shall address authorities as any discrimination should be tabu here. Nevertheless as saying goes "That which does not kill us makes us stronger". Good luck!
@@expert69able You grow a thick skin after a while - if it does not destroy your self confidence first. The best thing to do is to seek elsewhere to work before they kill your confidence. BECAUSE they usually operate in groups (gang up)
@@ibexy Maybe I am living in another world. I think I can understand what you are saying though I never experienced it myself. Nevertheless I believe you can find you way out. Just believe yourself. I think race doesn't mater. Remember movie "Django"? I not mean it literally. I wish good people should find they place in the world.
@@expert69able forget movies 🤣 That is make believe. All of the above is from personal experience. Especially my first comment. However, some European countries are more tolerant.
Thanks very much sister for this information, because I may be the next one.

It’s sad that you were treated like this. Unfortunately countries like Lithuania have a reputation of not treating foreigners well. I am from the U.K. and this kind of behaviour was common in the 1960”s . Employers would not do this now because there are so many rights employees have and there are advice organisations who will support anyone who has experienced this kind of treatment. All employees have rights and once companies are reported they will be exposed for their mistreatment and it affects their profits etc. Thanks for sharing
1960:D
Thank you for the insight sis❤
Oof, I feel you Kindness. I experienced something very similar working in the US as a queer person. You get a target on your back and no help will come. I’m sorry you experienced this, but I’m glad you stood strong and life improved.
Thanks. You are amazing...
Thanks so very much Kindness for the graciousness for having to share such invaluable information. Please, how much is the current minimum hourly wage should an international student expect to get in Lithuania? I
currently, the minimum wage is 924 euro.
@@KindnessAniogbo Thanks a thousand times for the information,Madam!
On my way coming to luthuania but thanks iwill read the contract
How far. Are you there yet?
Almost
@@chrisback001are you from Nigeria? If yes how is the visa process pls.
thank you for the info, didn't know Lithuanians treat immigrants like this.
Nice one dear
But are they still converting tourist visa in Lithuania to work visa if found a job?
Sorry for that Year 2015 thank God is now thing of the past, am a new subscribe now
Starting in foreign country is not easy for anybody. My first job in America was at the register in a grocery store. I remember how my manager scheduled me to close the store at 12am, and open it the next morning at 6 am. It was against the law, but this is how she wanted me to suffer. She and were both white, it was not about someone had different skin color, it was about someone was a total bi..., and I was a fresh immigrant. Some people cant' resist to take advantage of newcomers. Everywhere.
So sorry you encountered a bad manager.
You are right there are people who just dont treat people well regardless of their skin color and some others who dont know why they will treat a person of different color badly just of the standards they have. In both cases its just not right.
Thanks for the info
Hey.How is ur life in Lituania. This is the first video i watched from u

I hope you will get better jobs work with kind people and move on to create jobs for others. All the best guys. Also please share What was your own first crazy work experience? Happy Sunday 🥰
What a great video! Locals fall for these issues too, not just foreigners! 😑I had a very similar experience in the UK, so not just a Lithuanian issue - there are dodgy employers EVERYWHERE 🤮 Would be interesting to hear your story about a good employer now, just to compare how it should be done 😄
@@ihavegreeneyes14 Hahaha, I do love your idea of making a video of good employers. Hmmm, I will absolutely think about it. As for bad employers, they will always target anyone they feel can be taken advantage of, so sad. But we must know how to deal with those kinds of people either quit early enough and just report them.
Thank you for watching and always leaving meaningful comments on this channel, I appreciate you . 🧡
If we have a work permit ma'am do you have appearance in Lithuania embassy ❤❤ please answer my question thank you Godbless
What do you mean by work permit? The embassy should be the one approving the visa/TRP so you should be able to go there to make application
This is 2024 but I’ve had my share of experience in Lithuania 😢

It is just like how a lot of people want to move to France, then they complain that there is racism.

So it's even true that Lithuania is a nonsense place to live and work. Forget about reporting them , people should not even go to that country simple.
Hahaha. Prince be calming down. 😄. To be honest I think these things can happen in any country. I just want people to be mindful and be wise about their choices of where to work.
I'm a black American, I can relate but not relate to this. This is probably racism. You are looked as African and a foreigner. Unfortunately, this is how the world really is, it's not personal. It just feels personal. I have been to a few countries, and I would have to tell people that I'm not African. I do not say that to that I am better than a person from Africa. I say it because it seems like Africans take more shh from other races and I take none. It works every time. lol
Girl, if you didn’t get it yet, but not many Lithuanians like colored people.
And yet, a lot of coloured people want to move to white countries.
Lithuania for Lithuanians. Sorry. Go tu UK or what ever.
Looser!
Oh wow are you guys racist?
Like Lithuanians?
Oh really?
Don't support this. Hard working, mindful, beutiful people should be welcomed there. And treated well. That is difference between us and say some Jihad.
