Idk toxicator counts as elemental or not but i definitely know shocker is elemental cuz lightning, also you chose hard mode cuz the boss also using elemental power lol.

toxicator's description says: "deals explosive and elemental damage" so ig that counts.
as for shocker i wouldn't find it as efficient for hard mode due to how useless it will be unless spammed and using supports.
