Great to find this channel, have so much airfix soldiers in loft happy memories that I can still go on and look at.thanks for great content a 1970s kid.
finally a real man , a normal guy who unpacks the stuff , has fun with it and has a good smile . thank goodness we did not only get to see boxes from all sides without ever seeing the content .
I had a box of the British Commandos, Russian soldiers, Indian Gurkhas, Marines, and a landing craft, loved those things. If I had all those I would never leave the house.
Super crazy video - the guy (seller) had packed the boxes so carefully and you attacked them just like you (and I) would have done all those years ago....terrific!
''if i saw this in a shop when i was a kid i would want to buy all of them'' says the middle aged man who buys all of them at once and can't wait to open them all at once just to fondle them all at once
Awesome haul! Must have cost a small fortune!!! I just purchased my first set of Atlantic figures, coming from the U.K to U.S.... I got the frogmen. I met a fantastic fellow from the UK whom is an incredible authority on all things Atlantic. Some of the sci fi stuff is incredible, their Galaxy series is brilliant, but they go for a lot of money on the secondary market.
I paid 800 euros for the lot. The frogmen are a cool set and no one produced anything like it back in the 70`s. That one thing I like with Atlantic. That they did sets with very different themes drom all the other companys.
Hi, I just found your channel and I love it! I can't believe this seems to be the only such channel and I hope you become very successful. I am in England and was born in 1970 so these things have a huge amount of nostalgia attached. I mainly had Matchbox and Airfix but on holiday once in France in about 1982 I found a shop selling Atlantic soldiers (the smaller scale) and I bought lots of them. Keep up the good work!
That`s one of the reasons I started this channel. There`s so few channels, if any, that have a lot of old toy soldiers. Did you like the Atlantic soldiers as a kid?
I remember those . The hobby shop I went to as a kid , tried those for awhile , they didnt sell very well , so they just stayed with Airfix , then matchbox . When the Matchbox came out , I thought they blew Airfix out of the water , the detail was just so much better .
Hello, Just found your channel when I was a kid in the 60's I got the Airfix HO-OO sets of figures, Do you have the Astronauts set, The High Chaparral TV show set and the Civilian set 😀 enjoying your excitement when opening the boxers
Some of the things Atlantic made were rather odd - their historical 1/87 sets had topless women in them, for example, one of their Western sets (which I loved, having seen 'A Fistful Of Dollars' on the TV, as a kid), featured a hanging - possibly due to a lynching, and beautifully sculpted, even in 1/87 scale. Oddest of all, and I wish I had one now, was the 1/87 'Armoured Command Car', which was a totally unlicenced rework of a 'SHADO Mobile' vehicle, from the 1970 TV show, 'UFO'.
Yeah that hanging figure is very expensive in 1/32. They guy I bought this from is writing a book on Atlantic and is also reproducing some Atlantic sets. The Wild West ones should some of them.
i just bought a mixed lot of toy soldiers that happened to include 7 of the 10 atlantic german infantry poses in dark blue plastic including the loose machine gun...i don't think they are copies, unless they are very good ones in good quality soft plastic....i don't know if they ever were copied in the same scale...funny how the belt suspenders stop at the breast pockets as if they go under them instead of over...
The nice things about Atlantic are the veichels and artillery. They are easy to bulid not like those tamiya ones. Also that a big lot how much did you pay for It?
I remember Alantic line in the 80s,they made it both ho & 1/32 scale same figures and they were great for detail.. another company has picked on some of there items and producing them again but if email them you better be bilingual because they don't understand English.
WELL; never seen this be fore but as 4OK player yes must be to put gether and yes paint the new shame thats me have fun with it all may be i see the results of story
Christmas day again with all those boxes to open... I never liked the Atlantic figures very much, as I didnt feel they were very realistic, and maybe they werent even for sale here in Sweden? I remember I once looked at them when I travelled abroad. You must soon rent a storage I think, for all your figures, or dump your wife....
No wife and a big apartement solves the problem. I had two sets of Atlantic 1/72 as a kid that a friend that was italian bought for me when he went there for the summer. I was kinda disapointed when I got them but used them a lot when playing with soldiers. I don´t think they were ever available here in Sweden.
I love all those soldiers, especially the Indian ones with the turban , as for the Italians as well they were the worst soldiers ever they just gave up by the tens of thousands lol
At least your having fun opening those boxes with lots of classic toy soldiers. I'm collecting model Aircraft but it seems like climbing a mountain when I open the boxes and stare at all the parts and the time and effort it's going to take building them. It's a drag. And you have to have the patience and motivation to work on something that I'm slowly running out of as time passes I'm not getting younger. I'm running out of space quick. I should have stuck to toy soldiers myself. Seem easier to store than models that break easily especially the delicate parts. I d like to send pictures but I've never done that on UA-cam so far. Not too familiar with the workings at this time. Have fun as always.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Well i have lots of toy soldiers but since those early days i have become a complete pacifist and conscientious objector. What to do then about my toy soldiers?🇨🇦I still love the little darlings!with their feisty attitudes and handsome uniforms! Instead of fighting i line them up and they march forward! They Meet and greet have shared interests and become good friends sharing and caring!🪖🪖🪖😀
That's lots of very nice vehicles and weaponry by Atlantic. I can't remember much of those in 1970s. I did miss many wonderful toys back then and now. Can't have everything as the saying goes. The cost of these now is very high depending on where you are and currency. For AU dollar it's super expensive. Of all the times I've purchased from US to Australia like recently bought a WWII Navy US bomber at the cost of AU$254.00 + then I started to worry what have I done!! Occasionally if it's something I really want I go head first without any care at that split second decision. I think I have a spending and collecting problem. I am a hourder of my hobby.☹️😣👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️

You are bringing me so many good memories from my childhood. I used to play with these with my Dad. Old good days.
Glad I did.
The smile on your face as you opened the first package, like a kid on Christmas day ! Lol - I would be exactly the same in your situation 😂
It`s just so much fun.

Those Airfix 1/32 scale Boxes had me seeing flashbacks to a very happy childhood😎
Great. That´s kinda the point of this channel :)

I realized watching the video that I might come across a bit careless. But it was just so much fun.
Atlantic! So bad yet so good. What goofy stuff. Fun to see it all!❤
Thanks for sharing, It brought back some very good memories.
Thank you for watching.

Please do a vid of them put together especially the artillery
