Very cool game design/idea!
Looking forward to getting a copy. We plan to do a reaction video on our channel.
Just got the game in the mail yesterday...and won! BUT it was the easiest dragon, and I only did the exact minimum amount of damage needed AND could not absorb more than precisely the amount of damage done to me. So I did the worst one could do and still win haha. :-P Can't wait to try again! Very nifty idea, and I love that I can pop it in a bag or pocket. This will make bus and plane trips much more tolerable.
Some feedback if you do a revised edition:
* Icons for enemy special abilities and journeys can be easy to overlook if they blend into the art. I see there is a hazy white circle around each symbol...maybe that can be made more dense or solid to make the symbol pop out more clearly?
* Depending on lighting it can be hard to tell blue and gray and black icons apart. Maybe I just need to make sure I have adequate white light around when I play, but if the blue tint were slightly brighter and/or the icons themselves slightly larger (and/or the white bloom effect behind them stronger) it would be great.
* The general layout of the action cards seems like it might be improved... I'm sure you labored long and hard over such a thing, so it may sound arrogant of me to suggest this. Especially since I don't have a specific suggestion as to what I would prefer. The basic / ether actions make sense. The position of the initiative and boost numbers are a bit arbitrary, but at least they're on the left side so most players will see only those as they fan the hand... I guess it's pretty hard to otherwise organize up to 11 bits of information on a quarter card! So perhaps just ignore this nit-pick.
* It's a shame the rules come as a separate digital document. I understand wanting to save cost, but there are at least 3 panels of the hook box that could hold more rules, or 4 if the difficulty settings were left to an optional download. Again, I'm sure you went over all of your options and did things this way for a very clear reason. Just a suggestion.
Thanks for creating such an awesome little packet of joy!

I'm glad you are having fun with it! With how well the crowd sale did, I definitely plan to release expansion content.
