  • 🎙️ Your Feelings are Lying to You: From Emotions to Faith | MyLiving Ministries Podcast
In this episode, titled "Your Feelings Are Lying to You," our host Lauren challenges the cultural narrative that encourages us to follow our feelings above all else.
As Christ followers, part of our journey towards spiritual maturity involves learning not to be led astray by our emotions. In a society that often promotes doing what feels good, even if it contradicts God's truth, we are reminded that true wisdom comes from aligning our lives with His Word.
Join Lauren as she explores two fundamental truths: how our feelings can lead us away from righteousness and into sin, and how they can deceive us into believing lies rather than embracing the reality of God's forgiveness, grace, love and authority.
Through insightful discussion and scriptural wisdom, Lauren encourages us to anchor our faith not in fleeting emotions but in the unchanging truth of God's promises. Discover why trusting in God requires a faith that goes beyond feelings and embraces the things not seen.

This is a very important topic, it could mean the life or death of a believer in Christ.
It is so important for believers to know the heart of God through His word by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual warfare is real the demonic forces of darkness don’t stop because you surrender to God the battle for your soul intensifies.
Thank you so much for speaking on this topic God has a plan for each of us for the building of the Kingdom of God here on earth and in heaven.
Be encouraged seek the Lord with all your heart lean not unto your own understanding…
Receive your prayer language, praying in the Holy Spirit , It is a powerful tool given to us by the Lord, it is like medicine for the heart and mind and when we don’t know what to pray the spirit of God prays through us.
Pray for others because we are our brothers keeper….. keep fighting the good fight of faith ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Great lesson! I relate because I took things personal with new coworkers before and became angry and felt stupid.
I like what you have said anger leads to porn, riot, murder, drinking, cussing. Anger is a toxic feeling. Surrender your anger to God!
Anger is an outward expression much deeper of what is going on in our hearts. I like this!
    Great lesson!

Anger is a sign something is wrong. Sometimes anger is perfectly righteous and is a warning. God gets angry.

Thank you!, I have been struggling with a decision because it doesn't feel right in my body, after listening to you, I can see a difference between what feels good in my body and the workings of the Holy Spirit on my being. This higher authority of the Spirit as it is in line with the word of God. You are an answer to my prayers as I have really been struggling and wrestling to find surrender.

Jesus has placed it on my heart to share the Gospel with you. Jesus, God the Son the Son of God, died, and spilled His precious blood, on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He was buried and on the third day rose from the dead just like the scriptures said He would. Salvation is a gift, please accept it now if you haven't already by BELIEVING in what Jesus did for us. The rapture of the Church is imminent, God bless you!

Hmmm... pissed seems a bit hostile of a word for a Christian video. Also, it's not so pure. Just some thoughts.

Mmm you have to be careful with that mindset. Intent matters in what we say. Cussing is NOT a sin and let’s be clear there. James 2 or 3 talks about the nature of the tongue however and it is the rudder of the boat that is our bodies. Our tongue projects our heart outwardly.
I just caution you against saying certain words are hostile for Christians, because at the end of the day we are not perfect and can never be. God doesn’t say don’t cuss, he says love your neighbors and enemies. Intent matters. It’s okay to cuss with a good intent behind, our Lord isn’t petty and won’t leave us because we use one word. However the spirit will convict us when our intent with the word is ill hearted or hateful. We as believers can form sentences that are downright sinister without the use of profanity, it’s a posture of heart. So putting that lens of “oh no someone said pissed in a Christian video” is dangerous because that can put you into a path of legalism and that is a very hard thing to break out of.
Now on the other hand- profanity is… well profane and being profane or prudent doesn’t honor God, it is our joy and duty to honor God. So in conclusion: don’t go running around with the mouth of a sailor and slandering everything and thinking “I’m not being hateful.” because even if you aren’t, you’re dishonoring God with prudence and profanity. There are many ways to articulate ourselves and thoughts without the use of cuss words. Don’t crucify yourself and bash yourself down when one accidentally slips out, or don’t be scared of saying like “ass”. An example; I call my cat a little ass sometimes when he jumps on the table during Bible study. I’m not annoyed or angry, I’m just laughing and humored by my cat being so well timed everytime we study to interrupt us. I also call him little jerk, or brat. Your heart posture matters. It’s a very fine line to explain but let the spirit guide you, and remember our God isn’t a petty God and knows what you mean when you say it. God bless❤️
