I faced the similar situation during my speaking test, the test person was very provoking and turned the experience into frustrating one from exciting.
In june of 2021 when I was in middle of my 12 I didn’t prepared for ielts at not no preps nothing and I scored 7.5 bandscore. 8.5 in listening 7.5 in reading 7 in speaking and 6.5 in writing. SO GUYS if you have good flow on english then go for it. This is not a big stone to crack
congrats ddi... previous year i passed my 12th class.. and i needed only 6 bands overall to be admitted in any institute..with god's grace and umpteen efforts of me and my tutor... I got 7 bands overall (L-8.5,R-7.5,S-6.5,W-6.0).. I was hella scared of my speaking... but my confidence made me to achieve this.. And my suggestion to all new aspirants would be...just have confidence in you.. and do practice a lot .... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
In my personal experience, it is a tough exam as it assesses English in 4 domains. I got band 7 after 1 and half months of hardwork and struggle. But it's worth it for sure 👍🎉
Trust me, when you are stressed in your life, never try to give the exam during that duration. The exam is not very easy nor very difficult. But it definitely need your full focus. I have already given 1 attempt in pressure, I have scored overall 6. I need 6.5+ to appear in a desired university. This is going to be my 2nd attempt (again in even more pressure) but I am short if time. Learning - Don't be hopeless ☀

They had given the pie chart and I had explain about that. 2nd was a situation that giving weekly money to kids is a good idea for parents or not.
I had my speaking test today and I must say that whatever she is saying about the examiner is mostly true and I had the same experience today. The examiner in my case was an old lady (in her late 60s or early 70s) and she was definitely not like what we see on UA-cam where polite foreigners are shown taking the interviews. They give too many expressions whenever you answer which may make you feel that they are being judgemental and in turn it reduces your confidence. Be prepared for it!

I wanted to add onto her experience with the speaking examiner because when I went for mine, he was a foreigner and to be honest, it was exactly like how the videos portray the speaking exams on yt. The examiner kept smiling and he was extremely calm. I also ended up getting a 8.5 for speaking. So, yes if you're lucky you can get a nice one too! btw nice video :)
Well she is right...during my interview the interviewer tried to confuse me a lot by interrupting me when answering her... Also as she said in my case too it seemed that she had a little bit attitude..also she asked me reasons for every answer i gave..so i would say don't try making answers up just answer honestly as they may ask you to give reason for everything you say Also one last thing they will try to make you feel that you gave wrong answer or not doing well.. Just don't loose your confidence.. Be prepared for it Best of luck to anyone who is going to ielts exam👍
I got 7.0 in computer (l-7.5,R-7.0,W-6.5,S-7) without practice and previous year with practice i got 7.5 in (l-9.0,R-7.5,S-7.0,W-6.5) paper …. Guys make your English understanding better and your grammar and vocabulary better by just listening or watching english videos.., that’s the most helpful thing i would recommend ….. I’m going to retake writing because i were not able to complete word limit due to my negligence so I’m expecting a 7 in that also

To be honest i studied 0 days and got nervous Reading 6.5 Writing 6.5 Listening 6 Speaking 6.5 Overall 6.5. You speak good English i think you should have got 7+. My English is quite bad. But still i managed my requirements.
@@DJsAdi I was just confident but got little nervous in speaking . And if you did your studies in English, i think it's not that big deal to score 6.5 overall . However reading stresses out your 🧠. In writing i wrote basic English & no fancy words but with proper sentence structure. 😊
I also got 6.5 overall my result was on 16 December but I got 5.5 in writing but I am satisfied with my result because my requirement is fulfilled for bachelors in Australia. From Pakistan

Got band 9 with no advance practice. just one book practice of Cambridge 16 L 8.5 R 7.5 S8.5 W7. So if one has a good command over the language, nothing can stop u in the world
I got 7.5 band overall (S-7.5, L-8, R-6.5, W-7) by preparing for just 2 days. I mainly practiced from IELTS academic book 15, from which I practiced 2 full mock tests. Other than that, I practiced cue card questions with my counselor for my speaking part.
you don't really have full control over speaking and writing, because as manvi said, the examiner (and their moods, let's be honest) do influence the results. so try to do your best in listening and reading. when you are sitting there and giving the exam, the atmosphere basically pushes you to focus at your 100. the nervousness disappears so whoever is gonna give the exam, don't worry, just practice the papers and the cambridge booklets idp sends you. learn the format of writing sections etc and practice that's all. i studied for 3-4 days and it was enough, the only sections i fumbled were speaking (7.5) because i went out of flow for a few seconds, because of nervousness. i think that's the reason but fortunately my examiner was okay. and then writing (7). one of the reasons i presume is maybe because of some punctuation errors and an irrelevant example. i regretted writing that as soon as i got out of the exam and realised that it probably didn't fit well but it was already done TT. so don't worry, especially if you have command over your language and have a good vocab this test would be pretty easy for you! also the vlog was really good! i felt all of these emotions during the time too so it felt very nostalgic

Hey i got 7.5 overall and I have been speaking trainer for about 4 months and let me be honest, the speaking examiner will, sometimes, ask you the same question again and again and that is just to check your Rephrasing power, how well you rephrase your answer and i know that it is really irritating but that is the sole purpose for it and it is used for marking your bands but, I don't know about computer based exam but I guess speaking exam is the same. I felt like ielts is one of the easiest exams out there if you studied in English medium and watch Netflix, prime regularly. People over complicate it and prepare so much . Try both the ways in reading - computer delivered and pen and paper ..I was getting really a bad score in computer and my confidence got really low ( just a day before the examination) than I tried doing in all in 1.5 hours ( pen and paper based ) my target was to get it all right and not the time ..and I got 33 right that time ..Soo try like that
I got an overall of 7 band with a preparation of 3 days and for speaking I just walked in without any preparation. Would just say that ielts follows few patterns and expects students to follow it.. Just know the rules and you are gonna be fine.. it is an amazing experience tbh. All the best everyone.
@@rajkumarlohani5512 if u have the sample writings then you will notice that each task is divided into certain paragraphs. And each paragraph demands specific pin pointed informations.. just try to learn the pattern, learn few vocabs and make sure u use it and work on your idea developing skills. Follow a youtuber called aasiya or something she gives nice tips like how to not repeat the same word again again and so on. . That's more than enough for writing .

Hey i got 7.5 overall and I have been speaking trainer for about 4 months and let me be honest, the speaking examiner will, sometimes, ask you the same question again and again and that is just to check your Rephrasing power, how well you rephrase your answer and i know that it is really irritating but that is the sole purpose for it and it is used for marking your bands but, I don't know about computer based exam but I guess speaking exam is the same. I got 7.5 with 0 prep ! No crap.. I literally had soo much college work that couldn’t study once also for ielts . I felt like ielts is one of the easiest exams out there if you studied in English medium and watch Netflix, prime regularly. People over complicate it and prepare so much . I saw so many videos where people with so much prep get like 6.5 and share it as if they’ve achieved something great 😂😂🙏

Try both the ways in reading - computer delivered and pen and paper ..I was getting really a bad score in computer and my confidence got really low ( just a day before the examination) than I tried doing in all in 1.5 hours ( pen and paper based ) my target was to get it all right and not the time ..and I got 33 right that time ..Soo try like that

I got an overall of 7 band with a preparation of 3 days and for speaking I just walked in without any preparation. Would just say that ielts follows few patterns and expects students to follow it.. Just know the rules and you are gonna be fine.. it is an amazing experience tbh. All the best everyone.

@@rajkumarlohani5512 if u have the sample writings then you will notice that each task is divided into certain paragraphs. And each paragraph demands specific pin pointed informations.. just try to learn the pattern, learn few vocabs and make sure u use it and work on your idea developing skills. Follow a youtuber called aasiya or something she gives nice tips like how to not repeat the same word again again and so on. . That's more than enough for writing .

Speaking is easy only but also depends on your luck what kinda topic pops up that day..and yeah reading writing you need to practice more ..listening jabhi karo bas focus ke sath karo bhale and ek bar he practice karo ek din me you will score ..all the best 😊

@@PradeepYadav-pi1iv speaking was on January 10 and listening-reading-writing exam was held on January 14. The results are usually out at 5:30am of the 13th day. My result was too declared at 5:30am on January 27. I took mine in Gurugram.

I prepared for only 20 days and i achieved overall 7 reading and listening 7 bands , speaking 6.5 and writing 7.5 bands . In writing i don't know how i got that much band 😂even my handwriting matches with doctor handwriting
