- When you think about travel destinations in Poland, this city should be on your radar: Wrocław. Despite the fact that Wrocław is the largest city in western Poland, its unique charm, magnificent architecture and vibrant colours make it one of Poland’s prettiest destinations.
One of Wrocław’s most popular and memorable attractions is not a cathedral, not a castle or monument, but a legion of little people: Over 300 dwarf statues, they are dotted around the city. Some of them are visible at the end of my video. I wish you a lot of fun and I am looking forward to your feedback.

No kidding. I spent 2 weeks in Wroclaw and found the city incredible. People are nice. The city is extremely clean and amazingly inexpensive. I took 6 people out to lunch for $30 :-)

Lived in Tehran in the 70s. Unfortunately, we had to leave in a hurry(Revolution). Dying to go back some day! Love Iran! The people are the best! The government, that's another story. Same with just about everywhere(including the U.S.): the people are wonderful, the government, not so much.

I have not been to Poland since the very early 90s. From the videos I see, like this one, the difference between east and west are really melting away.

@@farzanam3417 They are all over the place, and I mean hundreds of them, scattered on the streets. You can't miss them.
@@kennydouglas9459 No mountains as I recall, but I loved the fact that the city is situated on many many small islands. Lots of bridges, canals, rivers.
Your photographs are excellent and this composition in edition is very dynamic. For this work, The architecture of the place contributes a lot and the colors of the buildings.

I was there for the first time last year and it's a beautiful city, great video.
ja ostatnio sporo jezdze rowerem, korzystam z ostatnich tygodni pogody, bo zimą bardzo nie lubię i odnoszę rower do magazynku w Stokado. Robię sobie ostatnio rundki po Wrocławiu albo w okolicach i to naprawdę skarbica widoków do zapamiętania. Dobry fotograf powinien tak pojezdzic kilka razy i ciekawą galerię by zrobił :)

What a wonderful movie! Great job! It shows this better side of Wroclaw with beautiful architecture and surroundings. I also reccomend to see "Hala stulecia", Szczytnicki Park and take a bike ride along Odra banks :)

I need to study more! Drone part is easy (harder only to obtain the authorisation ) but those shots you did between the buildings oh my God,what did you use for those amazing shots?! All I notice is your huge amount of patience and your experience.It was definetly not easy making all those shots! I really liked Wroclaw, the old town, the atmosphere, the buildings, and much more...- just great. 😍 The recordings you are talking about are so-called hyperlapse shots, i.e. time lapse shots while the camera is moving. I walk very slowly, it looks a bit like a duck's walk. The important thing is to walk as evenly as possible and not to shake the camera. I film with my iPhone and the DJI Osmo mobile gimbal. All in all you need a lot of patience, the recordings take a lot of time. But it's a lot of fun, so I usually don't even notice how time passes. 🤗 Best wishes and a nice weekend! 🍀

I bought the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Looking back, I have to say that the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom would have been a better choice for me, simply because it offers more possibilities with the zoom functions. So you made the better choice. I spent three days there in 2015 and loved it. The only thing I found frustrating was trying to say the name because as an English speaker I pronounce Wroclaw very differently than in Polish, and whenever I told a Polish person I had been there, they didn't know what I was talking about until I spelled it.

I love old European cities and I am glad that their inhabitants and authorities are not tempted to build the excess of terrible skyscrapers that dominate some cities in Southeast Asia and the Arab Emirates. The Russians also succumbed to this and their old towns turned into a mixture of cheap glitz, post-Soviet buildings and disappearing old Russian houses. Their big cities have turned into kitschy habitats, more and more without their old charming identity. Wroclaw is an example of the fact that the city's origins have not been rejected and the testimonies of its past have not been destroyed, but have been rebuilt and embellished for the benefit of European civilization.

I understand that many Germans may look at it with bitterness, for something lost, but ... firstly, they led to the loss of this city, and secondly, the city is now in a united Europe and any German can live there if they want and he has no hostile intentions (I think, however, there are few). Showing just Rynek, Promenada and some aerial pics of (central) Odra is like showing just the best part of the City that is no more than 20% of it. The rest is mainly old german/russian blocks never renovated...

That is true. I live nearby Wroclaw and what's shown in the video is what you remember most when you visit Wrocław. However, there are also othernice spots there, yet those are not touristic places, less knien and less eye-catching, yet some have it's own nice atmosphere. Naturally, there are also rather ugly and neglected places there, some districts, but all cities share such places. None city in the world is just impeccable. What is more, Wroclaw is a very dynamic, developing city and there are a lot of positive changes in progress - new buildings, the old ones are being restored, so how it looks changed from year to year. What I missed in this video is the Centennial Hall and its surroundings that is also worth showing.
