- It's been eight years since 298 people died when Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine.
A Dutch court has convicted two Russians and a Ukrainian of murder in absentia.
However, none of the men ever appeared in court.
So has justice been served? And could the case set a precedent for legal action over Russia's invasion of Ukraine?

An aeroplane of Malaysian airline disappears, Netherland conducts investigation and convicts again, some natural enemies of the Europeans from Russia which doesn't toe the EU policy.
Blaming it on russia was convenient in the whole plan. But that was not the main purpose.
It's too late and wrong momentum, why they didn't do a trial on few years ago.
Was it the same missiles that Russia used and the one that the comedian said hit Poland recently…

Why would the US provide it when the intel comes out of Australia? Absolute fool you are, you aren't even aware of publicly available information about Western defense and intelligence. How useless.
What about the Boeing plane crashes?
I don't expect anyone will ever be punished since it's corporate crime.
What the Americans shot down that Iranian airline years ago was that also seen as an atrocity, war crime and crime against humanity? Was there any American charged for that crime? NO, I THOUGHT NOT. Americans do not get charged for such things, they never have. Oh to belong to an exceptional society and government!!!
What justice can be served when the court has already prejudge the case before it started? Netherland has a long history of serving US interest especially suspected of spying againat its fellow EU members.
How do you 'prejudge' a case that took over 5 years to conclude? Russia should stop being a rogue terrorist state.
So, the court has officially recognized 2 things :
1) Russia started war and partially occupied Ukraine in 2014 coz the plane was shut down by an anti aircraft system of Russian army operating by Russian citizens who were Russian military officers in the past.
2) The tragedy is a Russian war crime

@@L.u.l.u That's exactly what the verdict was. Russia was in control of the separatist forces that launched the missile that brought the plane down. Russia is a rogue terrorist state and anyone who encounters them should shoot on sight.

@@Jotnar837 I just don't believe in useless trails and a trail in absentia is by definition unfair and unjust. I don't think Russia or Ukraine are trustworthy. Any evidence they provided is probably fake anyway, we know Russia has a bad justice system and Ukraine tried to start ww3 just few days ago
