Once again, there should be an improved audio version of this video in the next few weeks that will either replace the audio in this video (i.e the video remains here on this link/url), or it will be republished and this one retired! Thanks again to @storagereview and Brian for there time for this interview.

Hi mate - noticed this in a couple of your videos but your title screens (1:39) need to be held for a few seconds more to allow them to be read fully! 😉
I notice these sorts of things in a lot of UA-camrs’ videos and I’m guessing it’s because when you guys edit them, you’re forgetting to play them back to yourselves/watching them as a viewer would experience to catch these small things or maybe just missed that one section continually ☺️

Thanks for the kind words bud, but it could/shoulda been better and I should have made intermittent level checks. Just didn't want to break the record/flow. Couple more big videos like this in the works and I am going to be quite the paranoid android on triple checking the levels periodically!!!!! Have a great weekend

@@nascompares Well, it might be too soon versus what else you have possibly upcoming but this is one of the best, balanced and informative interviews. Wow. Double wow!
Hitting several nails on the hat, being informative, but also constructive and educational.
I can't wait for the next one in that respect.
Thank you Robbie, have an awesome weekend!

Synology it’s so disappointing on the hardware. I’m paying for C2 etc. but I’m at the point to throw this away and switch to anything.

    synology 硬體一意孤行,執意裝睡,但願可以被喚醒. qnap渠道政策朝令夕改,各有各的問題,一言難盡。希望NAS第三勢力挑戰者早點出現😮

While I appreciate the video, let's be honest if I am spending 100 thousand pounds in the enterprise, I am buying an EMC or Netapp with their large-scale systems. Truenas, qnap, or Synology will not be on my choice list. Home use small businesses etc., they will play,y but in an enterprise, with enterprise requirements, the choice will be with the big boys. So the hard drive purchases with the big boys I am buying from the vendor with their custom requirements.

Its really pointless to discuss HDD as cost per GB is same as it was 15 years ago. No Significant advances, only timepass in technology.
Even they introduced SSD which is only economical as a boot drive, not a cost saving data storage medium.

The host pushed guest too hard to be brief , trying to move on to another question .
..every time the guest spoke on a subject it was too brief
