It's interesting that there's the same debate in sailing physics as there is with airplanes - whether it's Newton's third law or Bernoulli's principle that best explains "lift"! Not surprising since they're both airfoils, but I'm just getting into sailing having been a private pilot, so it's news to me. Thanks again!
