My gosh, I miss Nell Carter. She was really never allowed to hit her zenith. Her talents were so diverse and she never had the adulation she deserved. Her voice had much more subtleness and expressive power than most popular recordings reflect.
I saw this episode not too long ago on Antenna TV, and was so good. What an amazing performance by these two. Both with wonderful and unique voices. Sad they left us too soon.
