I feel so bad she has such a horrible family.
Not all children are treated the same. Parents know when they can be victimized and what children cannot.I do care about how they were treated differently, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen .
Sounds like he doesn't know his sister at all because he's already condemned her as guilty and doesn't understand that whatever Behavior she has is reactionary from the abuse that she has gone through

My abuser was one of the most generous, caring, attentive, and thoughtful people you could have the pleasure of meeting. Thats how he was. To others.

Her family is not very stable. Why don't they believe her? They will have a very hard time forgiving themselves if they are able to get the facts & proven evidence. Treating her like this. Sad. Ohh woww that conversation was recorded. He never denied it. He is definitely guilty.

She assumably meant sending her off, being able to see her dress, etc. Just an experience for him to share the joy in.

Amanda doesn’t show emotion because she doesn’t want to say or hurt her family in any way. Being emotionless or shut down is a symptom of being abused. She and the whole family need help Dr Phil!
I'm sorry, but other than her grandmother, her husband is is the only family member on that stage with common sense. I don't even know him, and I think he's a good man. I think they're both good people and I don't even know them.
What a garbage family. Dr Phil should have reamed that family for the way they are treating her.
The only thing I agree with the mother about is that the grandmother should have reported what she saw but this family and how they are treating this poor victim is just unbelievable, even with the transcript and lie detector test they still act they are doing her a favor by even coming to the Dr. Phil show or even talking to her. I hope wherever she is she is doing well.
