2024 bro who’s with me
Still here 👊🤘😊
Will always come back to this, I hope someday TSSF and Sam Pura get their stuff sorted out, dude really knew how to make their sound shine.
yeah we chillin
Here cuh
Here, from El Salvador.
Have a nice day.
The Story So Far to me will always be a hardcore band playing pop punk songs.
I always thought of that and the fact that parker had a side hardcore band called Snarl. Search up his band's self titled ep
afdaguitardude so true
afdaguitardude f
Everyone loves Parker but the musicianship of the rest of the band is unreal. Its not some simple 4 chord riff for 4 minutes, it has a lot of depth, and difficult playability to it. Its like a melodic hardcore song made into a Major key, with singing. Awesome band but don't let Parker take all the credit to their sound.
i could not agree more
Their fucking instrumentals are like more than half the reason i love them so much, i swear to fucking god its heavenly sounding.
Fucking exactly!!
Seriously the drum parts are insanely complicated.. I have so much trouble trying to play them
Ryan Torf makes me sick with how creative and tricky his parts are. Will melodically is so tight. Kevin writes the nastiest leads. Kelens tone and attack on bass hold everything together perfectly. Everyone knows their role and knows how to make the band sound good and that's one of the many reason they get the recognition that they very well deserve. TSSF for life
The drummer is so musical and overlooked its ridiculous, that kid is brialliant
Oh yes
Tyler Hushour definitely. He is the band.
Erik Ruiz I disagree. Parker and the rest are amazing, but they'd be so boring if he was just another pop punk drummer.
Tyler Hushour amen 🙏👍👍👍
Yes. Definitely
2022 still bopping
same
yeahh
Booop boop beep
I’ve revisit this video at least once every 6 months for the past 9 years lol
hell yeah!
I don't know man... it's hard for me to find another band like The Story So Far
Neck Deep
Such gold
a little different, but definitely check out turnover. their music is phenomenal...their album magnolia plus tssf's what you don't see are my favourite albums.
Oli Pimley Neck Deep is the poor man's TSSF
How exactly?
I think the most incredible part about this band is while Parker's insanely good vocals take over, once you listen to each song enough you can recognize how good the entire band is. The guitar playing is top notch, the bass sounds great, and the drummer is extremely talented. Just an all around, solid, kick ass band.
Josh Howe ive legit listened to all of their albums focusing on the drummer and he is fucking skilled dude.
People look most at Parker's voice because its pop punk in the end, its the voice that delivers MOST of the emotions. They do get credit, not as much. Fans will notice that the instrumentals are actually amazing after some time. Thats why I fucking love these guys.
Some pop punk bands don't have the most talented instrumentalist, but it's obvious these guys know what they're doing.
damn right
+Evan Waters actually most pop punk groups do have talented instrumentalist, in fact most are probably even better than this band's, but undeniably parker's voice was just made for pop punk and is what sets them apart from other pop punk bands as well as his writing
A year has passed and dudes comment still doesn't make any sense
@@jdevlin1910 3 years later still can't believe it
@@jdevlin1910we’re on 8 years and i still have no idea what he said
Please get them back in for songs off “Proper Dose”, now that would sure be something
TheMovieGuy I think it’d be a lot less visually interesting since Parker mostly stands still at the mic now
@@ireviewapple4you Man, I saw them a couple of months ago and what you say.. it's the first thing I noticed. Any idea why his stage performance changed??
Quallaballa I mean he made a lot of changes in his life and with the music he’s making. He was addicted to pain killers and was in a very dark place in his life so he’s trying to portray himself better now that he’s off that stuff
@@Quallaballa probably because it's really hard to hit those notes when you're moshing around the stage and get out of breath.
@@joeyrogerson83 I would not do it better for sure haha. But the point is that the performance changed even though the circumstances have not.
Ryan Torf is a killer on the drums, man.
Anyone watching this in 2021? This band has stood the test of time for me - from the age of about 16 to now being 24.
same!
Hell yeah TSSF forever
💯
They’re the best!
From 15 to 23! Hell yeah, tssf changed my music taste completely and changed who I was overall. These guys will forever hold a special place in my heart
This is the best video on UA-cam.
first time seeing the band play. gotta say, I'm diggin Abraham Lincoln on guitar.
Omg this is gold.
hahaha a year passed and still gold 😭🇮🇩
He can really handle his voice. He gets red alot cause its all yelling. That's hard cause in that album he hits some high notes for his range. They sound so tight nd don't try to do anything risky. He knows how to stay in his range nd sound good. This band is so tight it's crazy.
And hes wearing a beenie and singing. Most of your bodies heat is released through your head, wear a beenie and be active and you get hot.
True that man. I hear ya
what is the name of the album?
It's called What You Don't See. It's so worth buying! I listen to it all the time and never get tired of the songs. Under soil and dirt is a good album too. Listen to the song 680 south.
thank you very much, I'll listen.
0:38 Right Here
3:20 All Wrong
6:20 Bad Luck
Thanks!
thnx man
And intro song - the glass
Parker kills this set . So much passion in his voice and lyric choices . This is the story so far baby . 2024 bumping
kevin geyer is so fucking talented, love all his riffs
0:00 Intro 0:40 Right Here 3:21 All Wrong 6:20 Bad Luck
Sound engineer did an excellent job. The music sounds crisp and distinct
sam pura 🐼
This band became one of my favorites instantaneously
Good Lord the transition from All Wrong to Bad Luck gave me new life
Ever since I've heard that transition I always hear it in my head when listening to the album.
but that transition is actually on the album..??
Tell me about it dude, instant boner
That transition is also in the album
so true
sam pura is such an underrated producer. this mix is amazing.
So tight!!
almondlowe this video is my favorite specifically because of the mix
this is the type of band you can listen to in any mood.
Torf fucking waaails on the drums. These guys continue to kill it year after year.
Checking this out while “I Want to Disappear” is soon releasing and it’s insane how much they’ve all grown. This is so wild
Ryan Torf is just insane on those drums
Legendary performance. 2023 still come back to this.
same here dawg
same
As a drummer, the little fill that Torf puts in at 2:19 just blows my mind, I love it so much
mixing is so good holy shit
Sammy the homie.
I’ve been watching this for 7 years
Almost 8 now.
@@caiebschillgaming-dofus4113 fuck
Same. Miss these days of life
Can't believe What You Don't See is already 10 years old. Time flies!
I find myself back here every year maybe once or twice. One of my favorite videos from any band ever
Bring back The Story So Far for some songs from "The Story So Far." Dope album!
Honestly, I have never listened to these guys before. I like only a few bands of this genre. But, this is unreal. I mean, I really can't believe that a band can sound this good live. Especially the vocals. Cause this kind of singing is pretty risky. But this guy doesn't fuck it up even for a second. And the rest of the band is great, of course. Unbelievable.
killer bass
2023 and I’m still blasting this
didnt even realize this was live until i read the comments, amazing.
+Young Kootra Live, but mixed. still incredible!
Hahaha, just noticed the Boy Scouts Quality Unit patches on Kevin’s guitar strap. Fellow former Boy Scout/Eagle Scout here bros. Rock on and BE PREPARED.
A lot of people overlook Ryan’s drumming, it’s some of the most innovative and refreshing drumming in the genre. Having musicians that play non-generic parts is really great in this time of pop punk. Shame he’s drowned out by Parker being the main face of the band. He’s a proper talented guy.
Maybe the most underrated drummer ever haha seriously, this dude deserves a lot more credit.
What an insanely talented band both live and in studio.
Can’t wait to listen to this in 2026
Seahaven t-shirt! Very nice... :-)
Cant belive this is 8 years old already god dayummm!
same dude
dammmmmmm I didn't realise this was live. this is insane. x____x love this band.
This band is my whole entire life
Neck Deep and The Story So Far are at the top of this genre right now. Roam, Turnover, and Knucklepuck are not far behind though!
State Champs bruh
KNUCKLEPUCK!
KNUCKLE PUCK!!!!
Brady VanAmburg They are already big and doing their thing, man.
You forgot The Wonder Years and Real Friends too
IMMA SEE THEM THIS YEAR TOURING ALONG WITH FOUR YEAR STRONG!!!
Same here!! I just bought my tickets today
2023 and this still slaps
bruhhhhh
@@honeymoonerslifeBruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
@@JoeydrinksSherry I watch this 2 - 3 times a week
@@honeymoonerslifeThen I see you are a man of culture as well! 😂🤙
2023. Still my favorite band ever.
I feel blessed to have seen TSSF and State Champs, among others one year and I can't even begin to explain how bad I want to see TSSF live again... some day I will. This band got me through so much.
I've seen state champs on my birthday and was supposed to see TSSF at warped but i started feeling like crap bc of the heat and had to leave before they played lol
I feel you bro, I've seen them 3 times and I can't get enough
there's something in the water in walnut creek, that town oozes raw talent
It’s 2019 and this is still one of the tightest sets I’ve ever heard
First saw this when I was 12 and 10 yrs later I’m still here
This will always be the golden age of pop punk to me. I always liked the more emo stuff like TSSF and Real Friends. This was also around the time I was getting into college, so I'll always associate the two.
End of 2022 and still straight BANGERS
I love how all wrong and bad luck flow together, awesome band.
Jordan Butler Best 2 songs on Things you dont see
This band is so goodddddddd, like every member is brilliant.
The drums in this band are taken for granted, he's fucking insane holy shit
AMAZING DRUMMER, AMAZING BASSIST.. BOTH GUITARISTS ARE SICK !!! and PARKERS VOICE IS PERFECT FOR THE BAND !! Sick LYRICS !!
Oh how i love CAPS LOCK haha
this band is so fucking awesome
this band is just incredible.
One of the best modern pop punk bands by far, can't wait to see them with New Found Glory, best of both modern and classic pop punk xp
Saw this band at the Warfield in SF. My second day as an usher and I get stationed at a VIP lounge. This band comes on and takes me to outerspace. My first rock concert at age 52. This band is extremely tight. The sound is unique and passionate. Kid on the mic made it look so easy. He can yell in key and rap in key.Even without the guitar solo, I felt well fed. Thank you so much.
by far one of the best punk groups to ever come out, hands down I fucking love these guys.
didn't know Dave Franco played bass for TSSF lol
Ikr same
It's a side project he's working on, nothing big
Tightest bassist ever
The beginning of "The Glass" is hands down one of the greatest punk rock intros ever written.
Tssf fan from the beginning. These guys baffle me i dont even know what to say. Unbelievable music, no one else could possibly re-create any of their songs on a better level. This band will linger through my ears as an old man.
Honestly I can't stop watch this video. So perfect
Plug your headphones in & hit a piece, joint or blunt to this. Feel the music. So fucking beautiful.
I feel it dowg
These guys are always my go to band when baked, sometimes I hit up Four Year Strong though they got the vibes down ygm
I used to watch this every day in high school.
wow an actual drummer
2019 and it still feels like yesterday! \m/
watching this and comparing it to the waiting room shoot they did in '11 you can really tell they've progressed as musicians not just technically but also in overall cohesion- something every group should strife for when it comes to honing your craft.
One of the only band I've seen lately where the singer sounds fucken sick live aswell.
You can say that this guys sound like every punk-pop band, everybody has an opininon and I respect that, but the truth is (for me) I haven't find a single band like The Story So Far in my life, and I probably won't, they are special. Or maybe I'm just a fanboy, who knows.
I remember when the waiting room recorded them the first time, tssf was the band we all needed... To make a scene. This band been through it all, still stands, a constant name. The way they play thru the second trac "all wrong" is a mind-blowing catch of what we had when they first started. So many bands like Kp and state champs. Real friends but tssf kept it so real and suburban that kids from across the nation could relate. Thos band has defined pop punk on todays terms weather they like it or not....
they sound really, REALLY good
WHY...are these guys SOO fucking epic, God damn that Parker... he straight up just has his own style. Might be single handedly the only reason I catch a warped tour this summer.
That drummer. He killed it man !
That was beautiful
Favourite thing ever when bands wear other bands merch
These dudes are freaking legit
Wow they sound amazing live. Can't wait to see them for warped!!!
I've seen this video a thousand times, but I keep coming back to it. Fave pop punk band atm
Not many bands can sound so good live. These guys sound almost better than their studio version of these songs
Whoa props to Parker killing it under the weather
I love you Parker Cannon!!
2024 still a banger set
Coming back to this right now is giving me chills. 2010-2015 TSSF was like capturing lightning in a bottle. Truly nothing or no one who came even close
They seriously sound the exact same way they do on the album. Its incredible how on point they are then they play their music live. Especially Parker, being able to stay on pace with those vocals is amazing.
The passion is just radiating from these dudes. Gotta love seeing musicians putting their all into their sounds.
We need a new installment of this.
nice to see Dave Franco has taken a liking to the bass guitar.
damn this is old! This was during a period where Will was putting binding on his guitars because he was getting rashes from playing so hard. He thought that looked tacky so he changed his style, now he plays from the wrist rather than using his whole arm, and his playing has totally improved- as well as his sound. I love seeing stuff like that
This is why TSSF is my favorite band. Nuff said
GREAT BAND!
Impeccable Band live! 🩵
I worry that the vocal ranges Parker reaches when writing/recording isn't entire realistic for a live atmosphere. But he defintely makes due, and the songs are still spot on. The new album was a bit more relaxed it seemed, but there were some points where he was REALLY stretching his voice. Admirable, none the less.
