Brush Pen For Drawing Review

- In this video I review the Pentel brush pens, Copic brush pen, Pigma brush pen and the artists loft brush pen. I show what each pen is capable of by drawing faces and demonstrating line strokes. I talk about the pros and cons of each brush pen including price and durability.
02:11 🖋 Pigma Brush Pens: Offer versatility in color but lack bristle tips, resulting in eventual tip wear and less spontaneous line variation.
03:23 🖌 Artist's Loft Marker Tip: Provides fine to thick lines with similar features to Pigma Brush Pens, suitable for beginners.
05:27 🖊 Pentel Pocket Brush Pen: Offers fine detail and interchangeable cartridges, ideal for intricate work and lasting quality.
07:44 🎨 FuDe Brush Pen: Offers fine control and longevity, suitable for detailed work and available in various colors.
09:58 🖋 Copic Brush Pen: Comparable to Pentel Pocket Brush Pen, offers refillable option and quality line work.
11:57 🖊 Pentel Brush Sign Pen: Provides consistent fine lines, ideal for detailed work and complementing larger brush pens.
you're a legend
I love you!
All brush pens are made for writing. It's their primary purpose. It's the Asian pencil. We just happen to love drawing with them too ... because why not. 😊
Nice review, thanks
I love brush pens. You can get them cheap here in Japan. Great for drawing trees
One of the best brushpen tutorials ive seen on yt. Thanks #keepcreating #keepinspiring
I just bought each for $6.49 each. And a 3 pk of refills for a whopping $6.48. Guess the prices on them have dropped considerably since last year. Thanks for sharing this video!
Can you telle me where you buy it?
My mid sized fude pen is my favorite too! I am getting a Kuretake though and I'm hopeful. They're such fun tools.
You should try out Pilot pocket brush pen Hard and Pentel Touch - both great for detailed line drawing with nice controlled line variation
Thanks for the information on brush tip pen, maybe in future I'll try them 🤔🤔
I really like my Micron pens 👍👍
It’s a different look stylistically for sure and micron have their own style that I like a lot as well. I’m currently influenced a lot by Karl Kopinski and Kim Junggius so brush pens are my thing right now.
10:06 Can someone please clarify all the different Pentel black models ? I am not sure which one is what... I found: XFL2F, XGFP-101X, XGFL-101-X so confusing :(
The ones you need to know about are extra fine, medium and bold. They come in both pigment ink (grey barrel) and dye ink (black barrel). Just search the one you want and you’ll get the product number.
You dropped a perfect drawing of an eye at 3:28
Really great video! Very imformational and professional. I just wish the pentel brush pens weren’t $20 where I live 😩.
George Kominatos so sad.. I spend $16 on the pack of 2 tombow brush pens, but we don’t have access to copics either :c
@@lexcrane5097 Wow that sucks. Walmart here carries the Tombows for $5. Look online, you can get Pentel brush pens for about $10 including shipping on ebay.
Nice vid! I like the pentel pocket brush pen! I haven’t used those 2 pens you showed with the super super fine tips yet though.... 🖊
Great video and art work. Thanks for uploading. 👏
I tried a f2lf after watching this vid.Its great for use along with using my fountain pens. Its the first brush pen that I have really liked or even did not hate.
Where’s the kuretake no 13 or 50?
Thank you for the detailed review, especially pentel brushes. It helped me to choose the first brushpen for drawing.
Which one did you settle for
@@cherryb.8076 Pentel Fude Middle and Pentel Pocket Brushpen.
i love the way you draw the hair
Excellent video. Very informative. Your work is really cool. Thank you
I've had my eye fl2f forever. Only bad to refill it once. I'm still gettimg used to drawing with a brush pen. Do you have any tutorials or guides for new brush pen artists?
What kind of paper are you using?
I love you :)
Carah Amelie love you too!
I love you t.....
ı love you to....
WTF IS GOING ON..
Hello. Could you tell what kind of paper do you use to work with brush pens?
Thanks,I like and enjoyed this helpful video
Appreciate for sharing honest tips!)
thanks for the review. i gotta order the pentel fude medium tip. luckily the price here is only about usd4 :D
Is it the pentel fude medium or bold that you're using? I went ahead and got the medium but I wasn't sure which one you have in the video.
It all depends on how you control your pen. Nothing to do with expensive or cheap pen.
Hey, that's MechaRandom42's music I hear at the beginning!
Very useful, thanks :)
Informative video! Thank you 😊
Glad to know you got something from it. Thanks.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Great video very helpful info been looking at a few of those very pens. I’ve been watching you vids for years now starting to think somethings up you never age. Vegan or Vampire?
Very useful thanks!
Sorry sir, but it’s actually pronounced foo-de-, not food, but you could call it any way you want it’s just properly called foo-de-
I bought the brush pen kim jung gi uses and by god was it hard to use. It looks like with brush pens, the more expensive the harder it is to use. Unlike with some other art materials.
I'm sticking to hard cheap felt and brush tips, it's not like I'm selling my artworks. Mostly just for skectchbook stuff and practice.
I think its just because you still probably need some time to get used to it. Pretty normal
Kim jung go said himself in a video that he didn't like using it at first for similar reasons. It's probably just a matter of practice.
What brush is it?
What Comic Book or Manga is this??
Dude, dig the reviews ... just wish I could draw now 😂. ✍🏼
Mad skillz/style with the sketches...& the gurls are drawn soo damn sexiii 🔥too 🤪😁🤙🏽
The pentel brush pen is supposed to be pronounced fu-de ふで 筆
I regret buying pilot brush pen
If you're worried about them wearing out, just buy a pack of 12;
Oh man i cant wait until i can draw females like that.
Cool
