Wonderful day for the Robins. Start of the season we were looking to maybe get in the playoffs with a view to gaining experience there, now we are looking like serious contenders for promotion via the playoffs. We’ve beaten almost everyone around us in the league and seem to have broken a few long time Alty traits such as not hanging in to pick up the result (last week’s 1-0 win at Solihull was hard fought and normally we’d draw or lose that after going ahead), and also we had a rocky period in December which in recent years would have spiralled out of control but we’ve regrouped and had a good January apart from cup games
I agree,Altrincham are ready to go up to league two you have the fan base and the stadium
@@harrykilner I don’t believe we’re ready to go up, I think we need another season or two to build the infrastructure up but that said we have to push on if we do go up, we’ve been trying to get in the football league for 50 years and this is the closest we’ve come in the time I’ve been watching Alty
@Mikeb1001 you definitely have some good players,thinking about it you might needs another season and go up through automatics or play off semis
@@harrykilner Another season would be beneficial I think, we need to upgrade the ground for League 2 I think particularly the away end (what we’ve done with the fanzone is great - I’m the bloke in the purple away shirt in the video by the way!)
