Good lord your starting point is where Alexandra previous YWCA used to be, thank you for this video nicely done so much transformation mind you i am talking about 24 years back :) the only thing I recognize is the market still there :) and metro link station. There used to be further down the station a hotel called "the old mill" :)
It’s still there! - been called a few names, now “Icon” a bar / food place but not a hotel I don’t think. Had a few good nights in there and The Railway opposite

I haven't been there many years ,loved Altrincham ,very posh ,I worked at lions and lions ,Ben Sherman shop ,in the 60s ,thankyou for the video
